  1. Thanks Al. I vaguely remember you mentioned something to this effect at the presentation at CCO last month, but I lost my notes. I resized the images to 1024x768 at medium compression, and the problem has gone away. Thanks again. BTW I'm going to duplicate the short show I did in Debbie's AV Show 2 software. Unless my memory is playing tricks on me, the fades in PTE seem to be a lot smoother at 1024x768 than I've ever seen them in AV Show 2/IE6. I'm impressed; the timeline synchronization is a joy to work with. Will let you/everyone know what I conclude about the fade comparison. Ed
  2. I have just started working with the latest version of PTE. In using the synchronization timeline, I have adjusted the timings so the images appear on the beat in the preview window. However, when I return to the main window and preview the show full-screen, the sychronizations no longer work. As the show progresses, things get further and further out of sync. I am running full-screen at 1024x768 resolution. The images haven't been resized, they're mostly 2560x1920 images from a digital camera, so the software is having to resize the images. I'm running with a PIII 500 MHz system (384 MB RAM). Possibly the sychronization is being thrown off by the need for the system to resize these large images on the fly. Do you think I can get the same sychronization in both preview displays if I go into Photoshop and resize the images first? What is the maximum image size you would recommend? This is very troubling. The timeline sychronization is absolutely useless if I can't count on the preview display in the timeline to match the preview display in the main window, never mind when I generate the show ... Thanks.
