Monday, november 11th. Middle of the afternoon : On a small train, recently inaugurated,I climbed up to the top of the mountain, the Puy de Dôme which overlooks the town where I am living. Only1440 meters high, but in spite of the sun, it was terribly cold…. It was the last fine day ; now, it is in the snow…From the top, we can see the whole range of the Puys, the Limagne plain and a part of Clermont Ferrand. Thanks for your comments

Hi Daniel

Peacefull music and images.

The scenery visible from the top of the Puy du Dôme is indeed very impressive... and is a must when travelling there.

At the time you took the pictures, nature has still, for a short time considering the recent dramatic fall of temperatures (and snow!), warm colors.

When comparing to the past years, one can be astonished (and a bit disappointed) by the monochromatic, red-brownish, aspect of this year's autumn!

Thanks for sharing

Patrick
