Audio control in video clips

I cannot find any means of adjusting the audio level on an imported video clip in PtE. There seems to be just the 'mute' option in the 'Properties' tab in the O&A window.

I appreciate that this might be asking the impossible but if there was a slider to vary the volume I think this would be brilliant. To obtain a balanced output of voice over the video clip is very difficult.

Unless there is a way perhaps outside of PtE of accessing the 'codecs to do this. I have no understanding of video.

Mute the video and add it as an Audio Track?

You can then adjust its volume.

Go to Project Options / Audio / Add Audio

Where it says Audio Files (bottom right) - change that to - Video Files.

Find your video and add it.

If necessary you can use OFFSET to line it up with the precise beginning of the video.

You can then use all of the envelope controls as if it were Audio.
