Burning DVD using Pinnacle Studio

Recommended Posts

I am trying to burn a DVD using PTE and Pinnacle Studio 9. I complete the steps in PTE (I have enabled the sharpness filter, for Pinnacle Studio, and Interlaced video features). When I open Pinnacle Studio and try to open the project I receive a message that the .avi file can not be opened.

Anyone have this problem or know the solution?

Thanks for your help or ideas.

Same problem with Pinnacle V9 ..... avi's file created by Pictures to Exe is not recognised either for DVD or SVCD

I'll now go and look at the other threads just in case there is a mention there.

Edit 7 Oct 2004 ..... Did manage to get an AVI file into Pinnacle 9 by using the "Create custom AVI" path, can't say that I was happy with the low res of the MPEG 2 file that I eventually burned to DVD. Might be expecting too much from DVD's !! I want to create DVD's with wedding proofs on them for those clients without a PC but with DVD capabilities.
