  1. Barry Had the same problem on my laptop running XP. Went to the Engadget link above and quickly and easily solved the problem using their simple instructions. Brian
  2. Thanks for that Jim, must admit that I dont particularly like the navigation bar on screen but I put it there for clients to be able to control their viewing. It would be handy if in addition to a mute icon we could also toggle the nav bar. Never satisfied. I've had P2E about the same time as yourself, tried a couple of others but kept coming back to this and for the past 18 months I've been providing clients with a presentation on CD. It just gets better all the time and the value for money is priceless. I'll try Boxig Thanks again Brian
  3. PTE is brilliant as it is, and I recommend PTE to anyone who will listen to me. I've done a search on the forum for a mute sound control and there doesn't seem to be anything. I'd like to give those I give presentation CD's to, to be able to easily mute the sound, "Mute Icon" ? on the navigation bar. regards Brian
  4. Same problem with Pinnacle V9 ..... avi's file created by Pictures to Exe is not recognised either for DVD or SVCD I'll now go and look at the other threads just in case there is a mention there. Brian Edit 7 Oct 2004 ..... Did manage to get an AVI file into Pinnacle 9 by using the "Create custom AVI" path, can't say that I was happy with the low res of the MPEG 2 file that I eventually burned to DVD. Might be expecting too much from DVD's !! I want to create DVD's with wedding proofs on them for those clients without a PC but with DVD capabilities.
