To make life easy (for me) I copy here the "ReadmeFirst" files of each of the utilities. What we have till now ?1. Your show which is now called "confg.grn".2. "YourShow.exe" which has now a new name, the name of your show.3. "Error Message.exe" (remember ? don't touch it !)Now put all the three files in same folder and you are done.If you want to make a CD, burn the three files together and letthe "autorun.inf" open your show.... I mean...the file that carriesthe name of your show...the original "YourShow.exe".Complicated ?Well, it's not easy to be a secret agent.You want to check it ?======================Ha, that means you don't believe me. Ok, put all three files in sanefolder and run the file with the name of your show. A small cutewindow will open and tell you "Start Presentation". Click and yourshow will start. My problem is I am still having trouble with getting autorun to work and doing custom sync. (and I have owned the program for over a year!) Maybe Boxig should be put on the payroll and these features could be incorperated into the show to make it less complicated. and don't say to me it's not! even though I work with a computer every day I only know enough to be dangerous. boxig Posted January 24, 2003 Author Report Share Posted January 24, 2003 pushu,I like your sense of humor (by the way, is it Pu Shu or Push U ?)I noticed one thing in working with programs: They are all very very easy. so why we have difficulties (talking in general and nor about specipic program) ? - because when there is no synchronization between our way of thinking and the "Help" file, we can't get how to do what, even we read it hundred times.People who write "Help" files are usually very familiar with the program and have above avarage knowledge about this and other connecting things. They sometimes explain as if you are in their mind and know what they mean. I noticed that in some cases, it needs only a short clear explanation to make the whole story clear.I think it will be good idea if some expert members will write a chapter or two with screen shots on simple HTML pages and then we can assemble all to one ebook (I volunteer to do this easy task). I see that I was not the only person who was thinking of something like this. I glad that I posted the initial question. I have recently downloaded the utility and added it to my slideshow. I do however have some questions. My avi file is fullscreen (975 x 600). Is there a way I can continue to run it full screen? Will you be adding a interface so that If I wanted to run in a cetain size window I could change the properties? Will there be features to change the duration of the avi file? I noticed that my avi file did not complete before running my slideshow. I read an earlier message that asked if you could leave the last frame of the avi file displayed until the slideshow starts. This sounds like a great idea. What was the final outcome? Also, the name of my slideshow says a lot about my slideshow, is there a way that I can keep the name of the slideshow and pass the name to the video.exe?
