Dusty
I am using ULead Movie Factory 3 Disc Creator. I am trying to add an .exe file to play on the computer and the movie file to play on the DVD player. I tried leaving the disk open (box unchecked), then going to the add data section of MF3 after the movie was burned, but I got the message the disk was not empty or there was no disk in the drive! I checked to see if it had finalized afterall, and it was. Then I tried again by adding a folder with these 2 extras included to be burned along with the movie, but it was buried under other folders so the PC did not recognize the autorun file. How can I accomplish this? DVD movie and EXE with autorun file on one disk? Thank you,~Cindy
ccmanz
Hello Cindy,I am not sure how ULead Movie Factory 3 works. I have never used it.But, If you have the option to create the files and keep them on the Hard Drive. Then you can burn all the files you need at one time.I use Pinnacle Studio Version 8.I am able to tell it to create the Disk content but do not burn the DVD. It puts all the files in one DIR that I burn to a DVD when I am done.So when I Burn the files to DVD I can also add other files I want to it at the same time.I like to create my DVD this way Because if I have any trouble I just Delete it start over.Once I have it complete. I Burn it to the DVD.I posted this a while back telling how I work with Studio 8It may not help you with your program.I made a little page for a friend telling my steps.I know the page is not well written. But, it might help you see the steps I use in making a DVD.ccStudio Version 8You could Copy the Disk Content back to your HD. Then Burn all the files and the new ones you needback to a new DVD. If you are able to use RW nothing will be lost.Just another Idea.cc
