Can I recover a project

Hi. I have made a P2E exe slide show of 200 slides and being a clever boy saved it and a copy of all the original images to a CD. I even copied this to another CD to be on the safe side. I now want to make a Video disc from the same show but have deleted all the images and the project details from the hard disc. I know I can make the show again but is any way I can save the time and effort of resorting and redoing all the music please. I promise I will never do it again!

Hi,

I oftrn do this to help organize my HD. But i keep afolder on the HD where all my projects come from called "Audio Visuals" Each show folder lives here. So if you remove a foledr for say "show 1" to CD, all you need do is put them back where you got them and then you can work on your project again. I move the whole "show" folder so it is easy to put it all back where the .pte file expects it to be,

If they are done with the latest versions of PTE, you don't even have to put your shows back in the same folders with the same pathnames. Igor recently added the ability to move entire folders containing one's images, music and project files, to a different drive without the need to adjust the pathnames. :)

Hi Thanks for the replies and I shall use rthese systems in the future but is there anyway I can reuse the current p2E.exe file to rebuild the show?

You can recapture all the images from the "exe" show, but it sounds like you already have them. So, no, there's no other way that I know of to rebuild it.
