  1. I also got the message, didn't open it thankfully. Time to block him.
  2. Hi Mark Thanks for the permission and the prompt reply, I feel sure that it will prove really useful.
  3. Hi Mark I have read your very informative article on the P2E forum and wondered if you would mind if I made it available to the members of my club Sale Photographic Society www.salephoto.org.uk as I feel they would find it very useful. It would of course be credited to you. Many thanks. Dave Hollows
  4. Hi Lin Thanks for that, it cleared up a lot for me. A very clear tutorial. Cheers Dave
  5. What a great tutorial.I had looked at the template earlier and couldn't get the idea. Stupid eh! Now it has all fallen into place and after one false start it has worked perfectly using my own images, Thank you both very much. Dave
  6. Hi Dave I visited this site and wass amazed at how much interesting freeware is out there. Thanks.
  7. Thanks for the help Al, you do learn by your mistakes don't you? Cheers
  8. Hi Thanks for the replies and I shall use rthese systems in the future but is there anyway I can reuse the current p2E.exe file to rebuild the show?
  9. Hi. I have made a P2E exe slide show of 200 slides and being a clever boy saved it and a copy of all the original images to a CD. I even copied this to another CD to be on the safe side. I now want to make a Video disc from the same show but have deleted all the images and the project details from the hard disc. I know I can make the show again but is any way I can save the time and effort of resorting and redoing all the music please. I promise I will never do it again!
  10. Thanks for that, I look forward to trying it out.
  11. Hi On other peoples shows I have seen an effect where a slide zooms in or out whilst on screen. Is it possible to do this in P2E and if so, how please?
  12. Hi I belong to a local Photographic Soc. and we have recently purchased an NEC LT 425 which I have used on a few occassions. It seems to work very well and is easy to set up. Hope this helps.
  13. Hi Thanks for the help. I repeatwed the same opening side 4 times and put a transition point in for each and it worked. Don't know why but "SO WHAT" Cheers
  14. I have a DVD video to write using Nero. I have used this before to write a P2E project. This time a warning comes up saying not enough transition points add some more. I have 242 transition points in the programme but the first three are on for 25 seconds each to cover an spoken intro. It writes to CD OK and works. Any help please?
  15. Hi. When I run a show in PTE it works fine and I have been pleased with the results. Now I get a little more adventurous and put in the pause control. This pauses the slide show but the music continues which throws it out of synch. When I restart the slides by pressing play I have to slide change by hand. Is any way of fusing these things together please?
  16. Thanks for the replies. Looking at Kens log makes me assume that it must just be my machine. 5 1/2 hours seems far to long and I can't do anything else at the same time as it is so slow.
  17. Hi I have recently aquired a DVD writer so I tried to make my first Dvd version of one of my PTE shows. Iwas very short, about 20 mins but using Nero 6 took 2hours to encode. It did work fine with no flicker. Then IO tried a 58 minute show that works very well on the PC monitor. When I tried to write to DVD it showed that it would take 5 1/2 hours to encode. Is this normal or is something wrong? I have Pentium 4 2 gig and 512 MB RAM.

  19. Hi Thanks for the replies. I have done all these things with the exception of burning to CD. I tried the Itunes burn to CD and it came saying you cannot burn this music. I tried burning it with Nero but found that my version of Nero, 5.5 doen't support MP4. I then downloaded AMP music convberter which recognised MP4 but could't convert because the file was protected. I have emailed Itunes about this and am awaiting a reply. If it isn't possible I think they should make it clear at the buying stage. I know its not much money but it is the principle. BTW is Igor going to add MP4 to the music side of p2e. Thanks again. Dave
  20. I recently bought some music from itunes. when I come to play it it will play in itunes but I cannot add it to picstoexe show or convert it in Audacity. Anyone have ideas as to how I can make use of this music in pictoexe please. Thank you
  21. thanks again for the replies and help
  22. Hi Thanks for the help.
  23. Hi In the past I have made short shows and it has not been a problem that preview always starts at the beginning. In a long show when you are trying to fine tune things having to always go back to the start is a nuisance. Is their a way to start at different point with preview please?
