rls757 Posted September 18, 2008 Report Share Posted September 18, 2008 Hi there,I'm new to the whole PTE thing but I watched some of the tutorials and am very excited to get using it (I'm making a slideshow for my sister in law's wedding in a month). In particular I liked the pan and zoom effects after seeing the PTE for Smarties tutorial. Unfortunately, I can't even get started with it because I can't even get to the objects and animations button - I don't seem to have one. I'm using version 4.44. Lin Evans Posted September 18, 2008 Report Share Posted September 18, 2008 Hi Randi,Download and install the latest version (5.5). The upgrade is free for the basic PTE program as are all future upgrades. If you want the Video Builder to create DVD's, etc., then you just purchase the upgrade for $26 by clicking on the "Buy Now" button then from the last drop down menu choose UPGRADE.Install the 5.5 and in a couple weeks the 5.6 will be out and you can then download and install it.
