  2. Hi and thanks you all for the quick reply! It looks that there is no an easy answer to the problem. Thanks Al for your suggestion but the classic fonts are somewhat limiting. And thanks Nobeefstu for your advise. Nevertheless I'l like to focus on the artistic part rather than the technical one (I already do tech stuff all day long). That is why I'd like to do without other software or builders. Already I need an external software to visually sort the pictures... As per the font yupe name, I am chacking it now. For the Admin: is the embadding fonts feature somewhere in the roadmap? Boxig, thanks for your software. I get the new version right now. Last but not least, I am wondering if this is a common issue to other slides show softwares or not. Regards, Astro Filante
  3. Hi everyone in this forum. I am preparing a Christmas slideshow to send out to my family and I face the common issue of fonts inconsistency while playing the show on different PC's. I have been reading several old posts on this issue and that is why I have used the nice utility from Boxig (font installer) but it gives me a couple of issues: - The first time the show is run, the font is installed but the PC (XP, 1.4G processor) does not recognise it till I reboot. - once the font is installed (file present int the /windows/fonts folder), the second time the show runs I have the error "Can't copy ..." path and font name. If the font is not present, the error does not come up. The other option of creating all the slides with Photoshop (or any external editor) is simply not flexible enough when manipulating many slides. Anybody has a better practice than the above? Are we ever going to have the fonts embadded into the .exe? Many thanks, Astro Filante
