  1. Long time since I've posted here; but working with my son this week on six a/vs for a corporate client, he suggested that a one click button that would automatically consolidate and copy all files into a single folder would be useful. I know the methodical approach of getting your pictures and music etc into a single folder before starting is the best way to go, but sometimes with tight deadlines a slide show is sometimes produced on the fly with pictures being pulled from a variety of sources. A button that would compile copies of all the files into one folder at the end of a production, would make this invaluable program, even more brilliant than it is. Cheers, Rob Walls
  2. Has anyone here ever tackled the problem of showing two audio-visuals simultaneously in synchronisation? What I want to do is have two shows going at once with pictures alternating between a left and right screen (i.e. picture on left screen with right screen blank and vice-versa). Any ideas, advice, help, much appreciated. Rob Walls
  3. I just looked at P2E 4.3 beta 3. I think I just died and went to heaven Igor. P2E has always been a great program, but this takes it to new heights. Thank you... Rob Walls www.icmstudies.com
  4. Hi Guido...Thanks for the input. In the way of computing for some reason the problem seems to have just gone away. Can't think what I've done in the meantime to alter things. Cheers... Rob
  5. Hi all...long time since I posted a message...but it doesn't mean I''ve lost any of my enthusiasm for this great program. Late last year I used it to produce 3 a/vs for an Australian national conference which were shown to 450 delegates on three 5 metre wide screens. The shows ran smooth as silk and I was making last minute tweaks only an hour before the shows were due to go on. The client liked the work so much that I'm now working on their productions for this year's conference. Long prelude to a simple question: I wondered whether anyone else has encountered this problem? When working in P2E and opening a picture for editing in Photoshop, I find that the picture opens OK in PS, but P2E closes. This might seem like a minor problem, but if I haven't saved my latest edit, I lose all the work to the point of the last save. I'm using Windows XP and Photoshop CS. Warm regards, Rob Walls www.icmstudies.com
  6. If just a little bit brief, Oleg's advice is right Michelle. Using a freeware sound editing program such as Audacity combining your sound files into a single file will solve your problem. It will also add another dimension of fun to creating slide shows as you get involved in sound editing as well. Regards, Rob Walls
  7. I've just finshed creating a show in which I wanted to place a button on the last page which would allow the viewer to e-mail me. I've done this before without any problem. Using the object editor I went through the usual steps creating abutton with "Write e-mail" for the action "on Mouse click" entered the e-mail address etc. But when I run the show the button is dead. On the assumption that the majority of problems in computing are "user error", can anyone tell me where I am going wrong? Rob
  8. Nice bit of lateral thinking there, Ken... Rob
