  1. truelight I like the idea you have about the contact sheets, and putting the p2exe show on the same cd. Could you expand on this a bit? I took a quick look at Imagewalker as you suggested, but not in enough detail to really understand the program, (I hate learning new software) I have been using p2exe for over a year and still don't understand how to use much of the program. I do wish you could burn the shows to dvd. I posted a topic a few days ago asking admin to make a guess when this feature might be available, but got no reply there. Are you saying that both the show and the thumbnail pages liked to a larger image will reside on a cd that you give to your client, and they need not install any program to view this, and can easily choose which to watch?
  2. I am using p2exe for presentation of wedding images and I think it is a great idea to include thumbnails after the presentation. I did check out boxig's pictures index viewer, but if I understand it correctly you are limited to 64 images? My shows generally have 400-500 images. I have never used the object editor and am not sure what it is. Would this be a simple way to make contact sheets that could be included in the show? I wouldn't want to have to lay these out one at a time as that would take too long. Is there an example of this anywhere?
  3. I also downloaded proshow gold but didn't really want to learn another software program. What I really want is for p2exe to have the ability. I am hoping admin can give us a guess as to when (and if) this will happen.
  4. I know this topic has been discussed in great detail over the past year, and I have been following all the discusions, however I have a few questions of my own. I am a professional photographer (100% digital) and use p2exe to show all of my images. With weddings I am giving the bride a copy of the show on either vhs tape or on cd. This brings me to my questions. I am currently shopping for a new computer (faster processor) and am wondering if I should include an internal dvd burner. Where is p2exe at with being able to burn the show to dvd? I know I could add an external unit later but was advised that the internal was much cheaper. I am not happy with the quality of the show on video tape and would like to get away from that. If the show is on dvd as opposed to cd, does that make it harder for a customer to steal the images? I know there is software to make dvd shows right now, and I have been following the pros and cons of those, but would prefer to do it all using p2exe. Is this something that might be available within the next 6months or year? What about the issue of dvd formats? Is it possible that the dvd I burn would not be playable on my customers dvd player? Any info (even speculation by admin) would be most appreciated. For my application, the dvd seems to be the best choice and this feature would top my list of future changes.
