  1. 1 show has video the other none. From what I can tell larger shows have zipped ok. I have looked in the folders at my show files and the shows that do not zip have also produced a TMP file alongside the zip file (which will not open) so something different happening there. Thanks for the response, my head is spinning at the moment with all the opening and closing, zipping, deleting etc, I've lost the plot! Will leave alone for a while and try again another time. Thanks Pete.
  2. I have decided to zip my shows for future use, but some shows will not zip! Of the 17 shows that I tried to zip, 2 will not zip. On starting the zip process the progress box shows the photos being saved, but the progress bar is static. On trying to open the file = 'Windows cannot open the folder' 'The compressed file is invalid' It's not a problem at the moment, just curious as to why. I cannot see any obvious difference in the shows Thanks for taking the time to reply. Pete
  3. Thanks for that DG. Will take a look. I am actually more than happy with the look of my shows as they are, but if they can be improved then I'm all in. I confess to be a 'pixel peeper' on my DSLRs and PC, maybe I will pay the same attention to slideshows. Pete.
  4. Thanks for the replies guys. I have just made and managed to try a 60p show on a LG tv. It worked fine. I have given shows to friends and they to had problems with the 60p version. So I think I will get into the habit of creating a zip file for future shows. Is there an advantage to using 60p v 30p that I would see in the show. I use very little video, mainly photos produced on Canon 5dIV or 6RII DSLR. Thanks Pete
  5. Hi, I have a question regarding selecting 30p vs 60p when creating a slideshow. All my shows are made at 30p and play OK on my TVs, but if I record with 60p then my shows will not play on my present TVs. Will shows made at 30p play on the latest TVs, I do not know anyone that has updated their TVs recently to try my shows. Would hate to not be able to play my many shows in the future. Also had a problem with fat32/exfat/ntfs formats on flash drives! But that is sorted...for now. Thanks Pete.
  6. Thanks very much for the reply Igor. I will try 10.5.2. I'm sure that I have tried different versions of 10.5. with similar problems. Anyway I will use this version over the next week or two and see what happens. As I say, sometimes all is perfect then another time odd results, unpredictable! At the moment my current slideshow has opened in good shape in 10.5.2. Thanks Pete.
  7. Hi, I have some very odd ‘things’ happen at times when using PTE AV Studio 10.5.3. (I have seen similar things in previous versions of PTE 10 from 10.0.14 onwards) but PTE AV Studio 10.0.14 works perfectly in every way! I have stopped using any version of PTE 10 above 10.0.14. In the file list sometimes the files are loaded in the wrong order, sometimes wrong file numbers are attached to the images. This can be reset by a reboot of PXE, which places everything in its correct place. I have had images placed in the timeline that are not in the file list, but are images that I have recently used in another show, in this case the file number is the correct one but the image is the wrong one! The odd thing is that when I click on the ‘wrong’ image the correct image is displayed in the main viewer! Very odd. I have reinstalled PTE 10.5.14 and it can work perfectly for a while then I encounter one or more of these issues. At the moment I am OK using 10.0.14 no problem. I figure that this must be something wrong at my end as I have not seen any one else mention it. Any ideas? Thanks Pete
