  1. Thanks to everyone for help. I have had some major computer problems related to Windows media player update 10 and have been working on that. I will come back and recap and repost if I fix the problem or don't fix it as soon as I can get my problems solved. Joe
  2. I am putting the images in the list by going in the left column and finding the pictures on my computer which brings up the list. I either double click them or highlight them and click on add tab in the bottom of the window. They seem to come up and all looks normal until I click on preview. My screen looks like this. I captured this screen view with the path highlight showing the correct path for the photo. Unfortunately the captured screen picture does not show in the message. I will e-mail the file. Joe
  3. After I put pictures in my list, I check the preview and it states that pictures are not found. Any ideas.
  4. Tim I'm curious to know how you solved the problem. Joe
  5. Alan, I am scheduled to visit the Blarney area in Sept. I don't think I will kiss the stone unless I know the answer first.
  6. Thanks for asking. Yes I did e-mail them and got a key. It is actually just a zip file and you launch it and you apparently are registered. The message in the porgram dissappears and the program is working well. However, When I create a program it always creates a program with a name that I previously used. I have to go to that .exe file in windows explorer and change it. In project options I change the file to be created, but it continues to create it in a previously named file. I was wondering why I have to continue to go and change the name of the file. Why won't the program create the file I want with the name I select. I can't seem to find out why this happens. I have been having this problem for some time now. I have not tried to fix it since I can easily go to the file created and change the name in windows explorer. Joe
  7. Follow up on problem. I am now able to make a program work because I got the screen where it ask to load a key. I don't have a key, but the program is working with the note that states the message will be removed once I get a registered copy. I have applied for the key which I have already paid once for March 15, 2004. I was never sure if I had a registered copy or not, but I didn't have that message at the bottom on my other programs. Thanks for trying to help. I think I just have to wait for the key to be sent. When you click on load a key, there is a box for a file and I guess that is where you type the key number in. Joe
  8. THIS IS THE INFORMATION THAT I HAD REGARDING REGISTERING. I HAVE AN ORDER NUMBER, BUT DID NOT LIST IT HERE. I NEVER DID ENTER ANY NUMBER. WHEN IT GOT TO THE LOAD KEY SCREEN I JUST CLICKED ON THE PROGRAM TO OPEN IT. APPARENTLY IT SAID I WAS REGISTERED. DOES THIS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH MY PROBLEM? How to register: 1) Close all running copies of PicturesToExe. 2) Save attached file to any folder 3) Run PicturesToExe. To register your program press Help | Registration... | Load Key and then select saved file. The program is registered now! This registration will work with all future versions of PicturesToExe (otherwise, we'll provide you with the new one - free of charge, of course). 9. I open the program and I get a window that states error. Pictures not found. There is an empty box below this about 3” x3” Below that is the list of music files and an message that states files not found, but the music files are listed. Now I have previously created this program. I click on the OK box and the program loads. Now I have the program up. All my pictures are in the box and all have a check in the box to show image. The list of where the pictures came from is on the left with all the ones I have used being in bold print. When I click on preview I get the same error box that I got when I went to load. I find the file.pte and click on it but I get the error message. I am not sure how else to explain it. The full path of the file is listed in the box where the program is to be created. I had paid $24 for the program but never did get a number or code to use. Does that have anything to do with it? Should I uninstall the program and re-install it. I cleared the list and brought everything back up. I added one picture and tried to preview and got the error screen. This program was working find before I downloaded the newest version. Joe
  10. When I go to preview the project, the message "error" "pictures not found" comes up. Also Sound files not found, but they are listed in the options music list. When I look in the list, the pictures are there. Why can I not preview or create project?
