  1. Hi Igor, Nice program! I noticed a few problems that I thought I would mention. On the second frame, at about 14 seconds into the presentation, the music jumps back 2-3 seconds then proceeds smoothly (this is quite consistant) Then this same thing happens at about 30 seconds into the presentation, on the forth frame, (but this time is hit-or-miss---may happen or may not). Also the music often starts to start over again (runs 2 or 3 seconds) at the very end then stops. Is this a problem with my processor speed (233MHz), RAM (128MB), or....? Nice presentation in spite of the glitches. Oaky
  2. Hi, I use one of Mediachance's programs called MultiMedia Builder. It is an excellent "interface" to use with PTE shows. To use it to it's fullest you need to do scripting, but very basic stuff is very "ready-to-use". The helpfile is maddening but there is a good forum you can go to for help. It is just now in it's "rebirth" stages as the program author (Oscar) has brought in more help and the program is being actively worked on, improved, upgraded. I recommend it!
  3. Hi, The keyboard control idea wouldn't be very effective when you can set irfanview's capture program to work on a timer. That way you could capture "hands free" Just my 2 cents worth! Oaky
  4. Thank you all for your responses! I was kinda coming to the conclusion that there was a CPU factor involved. Oaky
  5. Does anyone know why the "fade in/out" and "hot blocks" are by default disabled while all other effects are by default enabled? I'm just wondering if there is some good reason why they shouldn't be used; such as maybe they are more CPU hogs than the others so that it might not be good for slow systems. Thanks, Oaky
  6. Boy, This is weird, On the old forum I posted my findings of a slide show running at different speeds on different computers and it seemed as if noone believed me. Even Igor posted some response that sounded as if he questioned my findings. Now it seems to be common knowledge that such a problem exists. As I recommended when I first posted my findings: I wish Igor would add a feature allowing the person who views the slideshow to select the speed (if the slideshow maker chooses to allow that feature to be accessed). Well, at least I glad that I wasn't going crazy with my findings!! Oaky
