What is the ideal picture size for PTE slide shows balancing exe file size against quality? any help or info would be appreciated thanks stonemason

Hi this is my first post on this forum, what value do people use for the smoothing lines option. Left at the default 60 some slides tend too jump into view to quickly when using fade transition's setting the value to 100 seems to help, but what if any are the penalties for doing this.
