would it not be logical to use the cool ruler or another in the p2e show rather than the ruler from a graphics program -- the ruler program floats on the screen, does your graphic program ruler float -- i would only use the ruler while placing things and checking position of something on the screen what brought all these recent threads up was Igor's statement re ideal resolution,Lumenlux made 2 show's of varying resolution -- he sent me manual control shows w/o sound -- and in my way of trying to see if i could see the difference, i needed a magnifier that would float on screen in order to study the picts so i guess Igor will have to put it on his long "to do list" to include floating ruler, pixel calculator and above all a floating magnifier for us nearly blind old guys MY eyes have not changed since i retired in 1993 - just had them rechecked in July -- i showed the Dr. the text that i have difficult reading in newspapers and magazines, he said that was normal. He also said that every year when the new phone books are issued he gets a rash of calls for eye tests for people like myself, he sells them the page size magnifier -- i told him i frequently use a 4" magnifier, that was ok - the worst thing i could do was strain my eyes and that is why i run 800/600 screen res on my 19"crt my only problem is when my wife is sitting behind me and a risque joke comes in -- she can see it ken

while trying to show pixels to people i came across this one it stays up while you navigate http://iconico.com/magnifier/ ken

your index page looks ok at 800x600 if people cant see things proper on a page they should not have to be reminded to change their resolution that is putting your opinion ahead of theirs ken

Here's how to enter: JPEG format at a resolution no higher than 640 by 480 pixels Entries at higher resolutions will be immediately disqualified. If necessary, use an image editing program to reduce the file size of your image before e-mailing it to us. Include the title of your photo along with a short description and how you photographed it. Don't forget to send your name, e-mail address, and postal address. Before entering, please read the full description of the contest rules and regs at: http://www.pcworld.com/resource/article/0,...8,tk,dfx,00.asp This Week's Hot Pic: "Flying Circle," by Thornton T. Penrose, Loretto, Virginia Thornton says: "This is a picture of gulls circling on a beach on the Outerbanks of North Carolina. To get this photo, I spend 15 minutes throwing bread up into the air and letting them perform for us." Thornton used a Nikon D70 Digital SLR with a 28-55mm zoom lens. To view the photo, go to: http://ftp.pcworld.com/pub/screencams/flyingcircle.jpg i get the pictures weekly and use them to test each p2e update -- show is getting pretty big and burn them to dvd -- IMHO nothing wrong with them on a 29" tv ken

Edna do not close the p2e program until the burn is done read your help file and http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums//index...t=ST&f=4&t=1408 ken
