very strange ? Mayby... the only reason I'm using Windows is to run PTE... so I doesn't know if the problem occurs with other programs as we... So I never run such a test... What I do know is, is that this index rate given by VISTA to that machine is 5.0... And that is quite high... On the web, I have seen that many gamers also have problems with dual core processors... May It's intresting to send you the PTE-exe.... The PTE had to run on a dual screen with a resolution of 1920 x..... (HD)

It defenitly has something to do with the dual core processor. Yesterday evening, I installed VMWare Fushion on my mac and launched the PTE that way... (emulation for 1 CPU) Then there was no problem, everything runned smoothly... BIZAR!!!!

Hi Tom, I read some article on the microsoft site to... mayby it as something todo with dual processors in combination with XP SP2. Does your mac have a dual core processor? Regards, Kurt

Hello, I'm running PTE's on a iMac with XP on it... so far, so good... But there is a problem will running the PTE's ... sometimes the PTE had in a NO RESPONDING state, sometimes the show is getting delay's.... Additional information: we run in 16:9, full screen .... the videocard is a ATI Mobility XT 1600 HD (so we running HD!) Anyone a idea what the problem can be? First VISTA was installed on that machien, so I changed it to XP!!!! but that didn't help Regard, Kurt

Hello, yesterday, we had a show. Some of the presentations where made by PTE 4 and some with PTE 5 beta 5,6 or 7. We used a portable with dual screen... One screen (main screen = beamer) did the presentation, the other screen (pc screen) had the list with all presentations. All presentations made in PTE 5 had a problem. When we selected (setting the focus) to the next presentation in the explorer with the previous PTE was running, the presentation stops running the images while the sound is continue running. Where can bugs be posted??? If you using the downloadeble demo, create the exe, you will see that sometimes the cursor don't return at the end. (after the show has finished) Regards
