How is it possible in PTE 10 AV to set a font by default for Text Object in Project Options. It was planned to restore this function in PTE 10 AV. Pierre

In the file list, when an image file is used by the project, the name is in bold characters, only when the image is inserted in the file list on the Main window, but not when the image is inserted by add object in Main O&A Window. This would be helpful, when your project is finished, you can easily remove the unused images (filename in not-bold characters). Is this possible? Thanks Pierre

J’ai découvert Picture ToExe il y a plusieurs années recherchant un programme me permettant de faire du fondu enchaîné avec son. J' utilise PTE pour présenter mes voyages et mes activités concernant la nature. La possibilité qu’offre PTE est fabuleuse et permet de magnifiques montages que l’on peut présenter sur PC ou TV. Je suis moins amateur de l’introduction de la video. Je dois préciser, que l’assistance d’Igor et de son équipe pour des problèmes rencontrés est rapide et très professionnelle, ce qui est rare actuellement. I discovered Picture ToExe several years ago seeking a program allowing me to make fade-out and fade-in with pictures with sound. I use PTE to present my trips and my activities concerning nature. The possibility that offer PTE is fabulous and allows splendid presentations which can be see on PC or TV. I am less amateur of the introduction of the video in PTE. I must specify, that the assistance of Igor and his team for encountered problems is fast and very professional, which is currently very rare. Pierre-Paul Penen Luxembourg

Jean, it's what I said, when you drag and drop a new picture it's freeze, but if you right click on a new picyture of your list and perforn add a new pictures to your timeline it works in the last version without freezing, I tried many times without problems. Pierre

Hello, When you install PTE under Win7 64-bit, you install it normally there is nothing special to do, even if PTE is a 32-bit application. Regards Pierre

I was working this afternoon to finish a projet, about 170 slides. I have moved at the end 2 or 3 slides, and this time PTE frooze completely at every move. Sometimes also other programs running. I had the follow symptoms: main menu in PTE desappeared or the file menu was empty in PTE or PTE desappeared and came again in the windows taskbar. I hope this can help. I am afraid to see the instability of windows7. Best regards Pierre

Hello Igor, I have found another little problem, when you move one or more slides in the slide list, PTE freeze but not too long between 5 - 10 sec. Regards Pierre

Igor, Excuse me a little problem with my precedent mail. You can add more slides, but after adding a slide Pte freeze about 10sec. before you can add another slide. Sometime freeze completely, Pte scrren becomes whitish, and you must wait a few minutes until Pte works again normally. With "Show real slide in Mini Player" disabled no problems. Regards Pierre

Igor, You are right, I have forgotten that this was the options that I have I disabled for the freezing problem when add slides in an recent porject.

igor, Excuse-me but I have an other problem, I had it also before but it disappears last week when I have tried the diferent tests. Why, I don't know. The problem appears even when you open a new projet or a recent projet The problem: the Play/Pause and Stop butons are greyed out and inoperative in the Preview window. I have tried different possibilities but I doesn't find why this reappears again. I thought that Windows 7 was a more stable version. Pierre

Igor, First problem with freezing Adding slides in a recent project project: 1.- When the two options "Show real slides in Slide list" and "Show real slide in Mini Player" are enabled, when add slides the program freeze 2.- when "Show real slide in Mini Player" disabled and "Show real slides in Slide list" enabled, no problems 3.- when "Show real slide in Mini Player" and "Show real slides in Slide list" disenabled no problems 4.- when "Show real slide in Mini Player" enabled and "Show real slides in Slide list" disabled the program freeze When you create a new project : what is enabled or disabled no problems when adding slides. Issue with Open dialog 1.- With "http://www.wnsoft.co...Win7Dialogs.exe" the test is OK. 2.- In the program and your test program when in program properties "Disable visual themes" is enabled, when you want to open a project you see nothing. Also when "Add image object" in O&A editor, "Add music" in Project options. I open a project with "Open Recent Project" When you have disabled "Disable visual themes" everything works normally. 3.- I work with one display and not in multi-display configuration. For information: I have tested again Win7_Test1 and when I have disabled "Show Real Slides in Mini-Player" I have no problems to add pictiures. Pierre
