Thanks for that Tom! Unfortunately, I did not see any reaction to it. Anyway, I figured it out myself. I have changed the filenames in the customize slide > main > slide name to a shorter name and now it works. I changed from foto308-dag3 to dag3. Maybe PTE doesn't like the dashes??

works in the pc executable allright, not in the mac one though :-(

yes i did tom! maybe i should also mention that i exported the slideshow as a mac executable. i'll try the windows version now.

I am using PTE 7 Beta 10 and noticed that the 'go to slide with name' function under a programmed button does not work!? Slideshow is always jumping back to the first slide when I click the button. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Igor, Thanks... After reinstalling my PC I had a lot of trouble getting Adobe Lightroom to work and also some games! They were also freezing. By updating drivers, I got them ok again. Unfortunately, this did not work for PTE. I did the Direct3D test before without problems. I decided yesterday evening to replace my video card (PNY NVidia 6200) by my older card again (MSI NVidia 5600). Now everything works fine!! The PNY card is for the bin ;-) Thanks.

Dear all, Had to reformat my PC two weeks ago and reinstall all software from scratch. I do have all the latest video card and directx software but still cannot get PTE to work properly again! It starts up fine and I can scroll through all menus but as soon as I want to start to work on a presentation and drag a picture to the slide list at the bottom, PTE freezes and I have to hard reboot my PC. That's in fact how I did it... but it's rather time consuming for 650 slides... and my finger hurt at the end Guess it might be a suggestion for a later version then. Thanks for the replies!

Looking for some advice... Is there a way to easily copy objects from one slide to the other slides? I know how to do this for a small number of slides (copy-paste) but what if I have a series of 600 slides? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thx. Luc

I am using your program for quite some time now and still consider it amongst the best for my purposes. The new features in version 5 are terrific but after 7 betas, I was wondering when it would be possible again to add text to the slides? Also, I am used to only using 90 to 95% of the screen for the pictures whilst using a background picture to fill it a 100%. Will it soon be possible to do that again and to restrain the animation within that same window of 90/95%? I really appreciate your efforts in continuously improving the program!
