Hi Thank you for your reply. I have had this problem of sticking or not being recognised on the television with Pte 5. Not all the time. One problem was burning 2 shows on the same DVD with both not being produced in PTE 5delux one was before the final version was released. I opened up both versions in PTE 5 delux and created (saved) and hey presto all fine. Another problem I have encountered is DVD RW. I do not get them to work for me it has to be DVD R. Good to be part of such a good forum Jean

Hello to You I am using Photoshop CS2 and have loaded the action I have it highlighted in 3D action. The side boxes are a red square and red tick and when I click on run tat the bottom there is no arrow but a round circle with a line through it. I changed the red boxes and tick to black and the same thing happens. It does not seem to be live. Can you advise please Jean

Hello You will see the message I get from the computer in the attachment, whether I open up from Explorer or PTE 5v11 the message is the same when I am opening a v 8u presentation. The attachment file was produced in PTE 5 v8u but as you see I have a strange cannot open message. If I open in PTE 5version 8u which I still have on my computer aswell as version 11 it opens OK. I woild still like to know why I cannot open it in version 11 Jean Pte5v8u.doc

A presentation I produced in 8u I would like to import into delux PTE 5 v11 as the software in 8u no longer seems to want to burn a dvd for television. Does video builder over right version 8u. Hi 2 topics I would like addressed in future versions of PTE The text facility could be updated with bevel, emboss etc like in Adobe Photoshop. I would also like to be able to make a voice commentary with a click of a button 'record' say what you have to say then click button 'stop' This facility is also in photostory3. Hello The key that came to me that said it was damaged was REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PTE] ......etc and I feel it should have said Video Builder and not PTE. I have sent to the help section and have not had a reply Please could you help me before I have to revert back to version 8u Jean

Hi Folks I am finding in PTE 5 version 10 animations do not work as easily as in previous versions a bit hit and miss also I cannot find how to change the colour of text. I have reverted to importing my text from Photoshop which is long winded but works admirably Jean

Hi Again I have saved to a key drive before but had to burn to dvd disc first can the burning to DVD be bypassed and saved straight to Flash drive..portable drive? regards Jean

Hi Again Thank you for your reply but can an exe be saved to a flash drive, key drive whatever you like to call it? PTE software video only calls up DVD and I do not think it is possible to save to key drive or hard disc without burning to a a dvd first. Please correct me if I am wrong. I just wanted to check the presentation before burning as I am experimenting with wide screen Jean

Hi Is it possible to view PTE on a computer without PTE installed file extension pte or must it be exe extension. I have a television which I can connect to and use it as a monitor but my laptop does not have PTE installed only my main computer What i wanted to do was save to a flash drive and then insert into laptop and view on television before final burn so modifications could be made Has anyone overcome this problem please Jean

Hi Forum Members In PTE v5 beta 8u when you go into animations option at the top of the screen a text option is available. Does it work yet or am I doing something wrong Await with interest Jean
