I finally figured out the cause of the crash after a very long frustrating troubleshooting. It was PCAnywhere! The software changes some graphic card config/driver for its own security reason. Anyways, I uninstall PCAnywhere, reinstall (repair) Windows, reinstall video card driver and everything's back to normal. PTE rocks, still! Cal,

Hi Alrobin, No, shows I created earlier using PTE4 still running ok. The graphic card is ATI Mobility X1300 on Dell Laptop if this helps. Thanks. This to clerify that if I let the PTE5 show run till end then it's ok, it only crashes if I interupt it by pressing Esc. Cal,

Hello admin, I know it's a beta version, but hope you may already have a fix or workaround. When I preview or run the created exe and hit Esc to exit in the middle of the show, then my system crashes and reboot itself. Hello, My project was created in 4.8, with customized logo which stay on bottom-right corner. Now when I open the project in 5(y), the setting for the custom logo is there but the logo is not shown up in preview or in exe. Is the feature not yet implemented in 5 or do I need to do some other setting to make it work? Thanks.

Hello Ken, That is a lot information for me, guess it's not a straight forward answer to the question (if my show will fit into one DVD?). One the ratio part, I change to 16:9 setting from PTE project, and when DVD burning option I also set the ratio to 16:9, and the DVD display on my widescreen fine (without stretching horizontally), however the top and bottom of pictures got cut off a bit. My pictures are of 1024x680 resolution. Thanks for your help. Cal,

Hello Alrobin, First of all, I meant 16:9 (not 16:1 . Yes, I am not using widescreen images. I will try with widescreen images, and will set 16:9 from PTE project. Thanks.

Hello board, I am new to PTE. I used PTE4.8 and successfully created a very good show. Now I am trying Beta5 to burn to DVD. When burning I chose 16:1 format and when viewing on my widescreen TV the pictures are stretching. Any inputs on how to fix this? How do I find out how if my slide show will fit in one DVD? Does the length of the whole show or the quality of pictures decide this? Thank you for any help. Cal.
