I would like to create a DVD using the video builder where the user has the option to select either return to menu after each chapter has been played or play all the chapters in sequence and loop the DVD play kiosk style. When I used the video builder and selected both these options the DVD plays the chapter that has been selected and then returns to menu. When I select the play button near the bottom of the menu page the first chapter plays and then returns to menus. When I created the show in PictureToEx I selected in project options close show after last slide. Can anyone advise me on a procedure where a DVD can be created using video builder giving viewers both options: return to menu after each chapter or play all chapter and loop them kiosk style. Hans

When creating the ISO file for DVD making, In video builder 6.5 collect all chapters and select in project options "return to menu" after a show is finished. You can then select any other chapter for viewing on TV. It works for me. However looping does not work me. I have asked a similar question elsewhere in the forum. I also hope we can find an answer. Ray I develop DVDs that contain several chapters each. I use PictureToEx to create the individual shows/chapters and then use the videobuilder combining several shows to create the ISO file for DVD production. On the TV, some of my clients want the presentation to return to the main menu after each show is finished. They then select another show to play. Others want a kiosk style where the next show starts automatically after the first one is finished. At the completion of all chapters the presentation loops back to the beginning. Using version 6.5 video builder I selected both return to menu and looping. The shows do not loop. They always return to menu no matter which button I select on the menu. If you know what settings to select either in the individual projects or in the video builder , could you please advise me please Hans

All my shows finish up on a DVD. Most are longer than 30 minutes. Some run for more than one hour. Most are documentaries. All have music for a background. The DVDs are for sale. I am always aiming to produce the best show for viewing on a TV. I am always looking at all areas for improvement including picture taking, camera settings, program settings, presentation styles and techniques, disc duplication, printing etc. I learned a lot over the last 10 years. This forum is the best help I have received so far. Some of the members are technical experts and help me understand what is going on to solve problems. I wish there were recipes or books written. So I would look forward to anything that may write and share with us. Hans

I have been using Proshow Gold for 2 years. It works very well. I have tried to add sound to the beta version, using various alternatives. No success. I have contacted support and have had no luck either. When I add sound, on prview the show goes to blank and does not play at all. When I remove the sound it works again. I am also now using version 4. Is there someone that knows what to do to get the beta version going? Obviously it works for some. Forester68
