  1. mmm i was hoping there was a easy way of doing this, where one could simply track the starting sound track to where i would want it to start at the start of the show and drag back at the end, then all is evenly timed out in the centre.. hopefully something like this could be added into a new build one day..... cheers
  2. heres what im trying to do; i have a show ready with 100 images, now i want to add 3 tracks to it, but i want the music to start playing at the 4th picture and end at the 3rd last, but of course have all other images in the centre in sych with the music. this btw is for a DVD show.. thanks to who can help me
  3. Looking for an installer for screensaver files, so its an easy thing for users to install the screensavers made under PTE. any suggestions for this software?
  4. as an attachment, but you will probably find now that a lot of users have this type of attachment blocked, so your best bet is to either zip it, or rar it (winzip, or winrar), unless of course you know the reciever will be able to recieve .exe files
  5. so if we use TMPGEnc to convert the AVI to MPEG, then all will be ok to use ulead moviefactory2 for the rest of the work?
  6. i think the way im going to do mine is probably the better way (for me anyway), the only problem, or the hardest thing about photos to an easy way to find "that photo", so say in day you are talking about "something" and say "ya i have a photo on that", but the problem is trying to find that one photo from your 5,000 photo collection. Sure i know there are many software that you can tag photos with fields, descriptions etc (ACDSee that i use for image browsing does this), but i think many like myself just dont have that much time to tag each and every photo with a description.
  7. yes i agree, by burning them straight to CD in folder setup as i said above, i can use the DVD player to view the photos, and still access them by computer as needed.. so i think from now on i will just keep making multi-session CDz till one is full. Looks great on a Digital TV screen too
  8. I would like to hear differant ways everyone uses to organize there digital photos on either harddrive or CD. Im trying to work out the best method to organize photos to place on CD. Now of the many ways i'm trying to decide what would be best is like 1) most are placed under a dated folder when they where taken (then events are placed under a named folder of that event "christmas 2002" etc 2) maybe a way similar to the above but as DVD format. seeing as i have a DVD burner, its very nice to place photos on a disc and view them by the TV, this is a more comfy way for family members to sit around and view an occasion by photos So theres a couple of my thoughts at this stage ,would like to hear your method. thanks
  9. I own a Digital Canon EOS300D with a 18-55mm lens, and i want a stronger one but can't decide which would be the better one to go with, either a 55-200 or 90-300 So what im looking to see here is what your choice would be, and why? Im thinking on the lines of the 55-200mm, as this would be a better alrounder lens, making switching lens a min, so i think it would be fine for indoor shots, and still great for outdoor closeup type of shots, where the 90-300, would be a little too strong indoors except if a headshot only shot was needed. thanks for any comments. EDIT 18-55mm = 28.8-88mm in a 35mm camera 55-200 = 88-320mm in a 35mm camera 90-300 = 144-480mm in a 35mm camera
  10. yes same spot, just a slightly differant angle
  11. What do you mean its too heavy 78 kb for its size. and you think its ok will the branch like it is in it? --- i wouldn't know how to do this, but i would be very interested in seeing it done if you can do it?
  12. Just looking for some comments on these photos. im thinking about making enlargments for the wall. But when i took them i thought i should brake that branch off, then decided no it might look more natural in the photo, now im not sure. Also need comments on which of the 2 is the better one Picture 1 Picture 2 thanks
  13. i know PicturestoExe doesn't support VCD (wish it would), but ages ago someone asked the same question and someone posted a reply to another program like PictureToExe that does VCD. the program looked powerful when i took a look at the web site. but i can't remember what the program was, so if anyone can suggest some, please post URLs. Thanks
