  1. Thank-you everyone so much for answering so quickly! I am going to survive this once again. I forget what I did each time by the next time I use the program. I still do wish there were more keyes available to move slides around. I spent all day on this but at least got half of it done with your help.
  2. I think you are right! I am in the Fullscreen File List. How do I get to the Fullscreen Slide list so I can drag and drop the slides to organize? I haven't found it in the User Manual. I have always used F3 and F4 before. Copy, paste, delete, move to top, move to bottom - none of these work.
  3. All the files have been added to the file list. Maybe something has gone wrong with the program as none of the shortcuts or drag and drop are working. I can select the file by clicking on it in the Fullscreen Slide List view but can't move any of them around. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the 7.5 version but that hasn't helped. I'm afraid to delete my downloads in case I can't get anything to work once installed. What should I try next?
  4. Suddenly I am unable to Drag and Drop files on the Fullscreen Slide List. I see another thread saying to go to "Settings" to "Tools" and show all tools. Where is the Settings button found? I have 220 slides to organize for tomorrow and am, once again, desperate!
  5. How do I access Settings - Tools, to be able to drag and drop?
  6. Thanks, I found it on the top row! Now for the other wishes! Eleanor
  7. Please add back the Cut and Paste hotkeys as well as the Send to Top and Send to Bottom keys. Also missing from the version I am using is the slider to make the slide list thumbnails larger or smaller. When trying to put together a slide show with at least 100 slides the drag and drop with no ability to make the slides smaller is just way too time consuming and cumbersome. Every time I try to put together a slide show now I just get frustrated and angry!
  8. OK, thanks, I found that. What about the "to Top" and "to end"? What replaces those and why were they taken out?
  9. I do simple but large slideshow presentations. The Views button is missing from the Main Menu bar. I always need to see all my slides at once so always sort using the Fullscreen Slide View. Doing that on the timeline is just not efficient for 200 slides! Good thing I remember the key for that as it is no longer available In the new Settings button. Why was this removed? Also, I used the right click on the slide and send to top or bottom. That no longer works! Why not? Am I the only one who ever used these features? What do other people do? If these features are no longer available on the latest versions this program is no longer of any use to me. Sorting large numbers of slides is hard enough without some of the things I used being taken out of the program.
  10. As I have already sorted close to 300 of the images in P2E for my slideshow I would prefer not to have to resort them for another folder. Looks like the best way would be to just rename each slide individually according to its number in the show. The reason I want to be able to do this is that I want to be able to use the same images with a different focus for another show. The obvious thing to do, now that I get into this, is to just rename the old show that is already done and move some of the images around. That way I don't have to start all over again. Sorry I didn't think of that sooner!
  11. Sounds good, doesn't it, except if you don't have a folder where they are already in order how do you batch rename them!!! Doesn't work!
  12. I'll try George's suggestion and look into the program David P suggested. I use Breezebrowser Pro to sort my RAW images and that does a rename also. Thanks!
  13. Is is possible to create a folder containing all the sorted files in order without creating a slideshow? I realize I could rename every single slide adding the number but is there an easier way?
  14. Thanks, Peter! I guess my eyesight just isn't as good as yours! I do agree that the drag and drop works!
  15. As I'm not able to get the normal Windows keyboard shortcuts to work I guess I have no choice but to resize the images each time I need to move one and then do a drag and drop and do another resize all the images. As I said, using the shortcuts mentioned gives me a copy and it isn't where I want it to go. I could just do a copy and paste and then delete the one from the old location. Is there some keyboard setting that might be preventing me from doing a cut and paste?
