Hi: I bought a new computer. I am a registred member and have used Pic for over 2 years. How do I download V4.42 and register my key etc. What ever I try, I end up with 'purchasing a new program. etc' Help! John C

My original problem was fading music on my slide shows. Suggestions were to download Audacity and it would do the trick. I went to the website and there were 2 tutorials. I read both of them before downloading. Now Ineed more advice before downloading Audacity. One tutorial said that I need to have Flash in order to make Audacity work. The other tutorial did not mention Flash at all. I don't even know about Flash, so please, I need some of you nice folks to further educate me. Thanks. John C.

I put together a 152 slide show. 3 seconds per frame. Only 4 frames have a little text inserted into the picture. I get to about slide number 95 and the screen goes dark.The slide show stops. If I touch the space bar, the slide show continues through to the end. Help! John C

I made a slide show a year ago. When I finished the slide show, I erased the individual slides. I need to recover some individual slides from the show. Is it possible? A friend in the show died recently and I need some of the individual slides to make pics from.

Jim: Got your letter re: duration & transition. Very helpful Went back, checked it out, adn everything OK. Turned the music off, and still get the blackout on the screen. I am using ver.4.. I have re-downloaded my pics for the slide show, literally started all over adn still the same problem. Its a puzzlement. However, tell me about 'custom sync'. I do not use that. John C. Finished a show with 156 slides. Slides, titles, and music. I hit 'Preview' and it works fine until maybe the fourth to last slide. Screen blacks out, music continues. If I hit the 'space bar', the slide show starts and finishes up. I have never had this happen before. Help! John C.

Just figured it out accidentally. I right clicked on a slide, got a drop down list and at the bottom it said ' start from current slide'. Hit OK and it previewed from there. Hooray! John C.

Does this mean that you go into the middle of a slide show and review it from that point instead of having to review the entire slide show? If yes, how is it done? John C
