  1. Thanks Roger. I have now corrected the slide with the vertical line. There is always something you miss.
  2. Thanks Mick. You cannot help being inspired by these wonderful places. I hope you are blessed with good weather and good light.
  3. I do a lot of shows to clubs etc. and they apprecieate this type of show with slow fades. I don't like gimmicky fades anyway. But as you say it's your opinion and I like getting feedback good or bad.
  4. Thank you Bill, I'm pleased you enjoyed it.
  5. 12 minutes 50 secs, 70mb 1920x1020px My link to a Scottish Journey
  6. The Lakes in FebruaryHere is my latest show made up from my recent holiday in the Lake District. It is 64mb and lasts about 13.5 minutes a bit longer than my usual AVs.
  7. Sorry but I don't have the deluxe version of 7.5 yet.
  8. Hello Ralph, I am glad you enjoyed the show. I did write the script myself, although it did take me a long time to find the words. I thought I had hit the right note when I played it to my father and it brought tears to his eyes. Regards, Ray
  9. My linkThis is ,I hope a new take on a popular subject. 'Bert' runs for 6.30 minutes and is 46.9mb in size. The pictures were mainly taken at reenactments with only 2 historic images plus some old family pictures and postcards. The soundtrack was created on Audacity with me doing the voice over to my own words.
  10. Hello Ken, Thank you for your feedback. I have followed all of the advice on the Forum which has improved things somewhat. So thanks for all your help. Ray.
  11. Hello Ken, I have put an AV on Media Fire for everyone to see. You can find it at Cambridge American Cemetery.exe
  12. Thank you everyone. I do a defrag and disc clean as a matter of course but I will try your other suggestions and see what happens.
  13. Peter, I run Norton Antirus 2010. I preiously ran Mcaffe but this slowed my PC up quite a bit. Things are now much better. I will try what you suggest and see what happens. Thanks for your help and suggestions. Ray.
  14. Yachtsman, I have tried what you suggest, but to no avail. My computer is about 3 years old and Windows XP is my operating system. I have used this combination for a considerable time and it is only recently that this problem has occurred. Regards, Ray.
  15. Peter Thank you. I have tried running 2 versions of one AV, one at 1024x768 at 75dpi and one at 1400x1050 at 300dpi. There is no discernable difference. I have ticked Hardware Acceleration. The problem rears its head every time I play the sequences, both on my desktop pc and my laptop. There seems to be quite a lot going on in the background, but I am unsure what to do about this. Regards Ray
  16. I have a problem in preview and with a created show with the fades flickering. This happens on an irregular basis. It does not affect every sequence but does affect some sequences in previous Pictures2exe as well as version 6. any ideas anybody.
  17. Thank you. Perhaps you could list thename restrictions please.
  18. I am trying to construct a menu for my AV show using the buttons in Objects and Animation in version 6. Some of my AVs will not run properly when run from a button on the completed menu. The same AVs will run ok when played directly from the desktop pte icons. The AVs were made in various versions of pictures2exe. I have tried version 5.6 with the same result. Any help with this problem would be appreciated.
  19. Hello, Very soothing music with some good pictures. A little bit of commentary would be nice to give a clue as to locations. Also the fades are all the smae length which makes them predictable. Try to vary them and perhaps try a couple of differnt ones (be sparing)to make the show a little less monotonous. Good effort though. Regards Ray.
  20. Hello I have received pornographic spam from this member, could the forum moderaters stop this please. Thank you
