  1. Just tried again with the same results. The output to a .exe is fine but if you select Publish Show, Video for Mobile Devices, iPad Retina (1920 x 1080) and keep the defaults for Video i.e. Width 1920 Height 1080 then you can see when it renders that you are losing something like 10% around the edges. I have not had any issues with 7.5 and given that the iPad output does not mirror a .exe output I can only conclude this is a bug or a setting I have missed. Regards, John
  2. It is an iPad 4. I tried the iPad Air and think that Apple have made a mistake as the feel of it and the plastic screen is not as good as the older ones, but that is another story. I have made many AV using PtE 7.5 with no issues with the content correct sized for the screen. It is PtE 8 that I have having the issues with. Regards, John
  3. Thanks for the information Bill on Fotomagico Pro. I will check it out. Like you I think PtE is an excellent program but I just wonder how many sales are being lost by not having a true Mac version. I guess it might be a very major undertaking to produce a Mac version given how Apple manage their sub systems as compared with Microsoft. It might be good if Igor did a survey is get an idea of the potential sales. Regards, John
  4. I created a PtE using version 8 and the .exe file looks good with the image size correct. When I use the output to create a file suitable for running on an iPad the images are too large and content around the edges is lost. I seem to remember on previous version there was an option for 'safe' image size to cater for the over scan on some monitors. Given that the .exe file looks good it would point to an issue in the .mp4 output, unless I am missing something. Regards, John
  5. Personally I think the need for a Mac version has been greatly underestimated. I am a great fan of PtE having used it to produce many AV's and within the photography world in the UK is the defacto standard if you are happy to run Windows. I moved to Mac and iPads etc. three years ago and the biggest disappointment was there is not a Mac version of PtE. I was glad to see the back of Windows and there is no way that I am prepared to pollute a Mac by running Windows on it. I am the secretary of a thriving Camera Club and many of our members are in the same position as me and also have the same views regarding Windows. I would have thought that there would be far greater reward for now stopping any further enhancements to a Windows version and producing a Mac version. Sold via the App Store a Mac version produce a far greater return than the upgrades for. Windows version. In the meantime I will have to either persevere with Aperture, which is a struggle compared to PtE, or borrow by wife's Windows laptop. Regards, John
  6. Hello, Unfortunately I am still getting the image load error on beta 7 that crept back into beta 6. I never saw the image load error with PtE 5.1 and on PtE 5.6 beta4. Regards, John
