  1. Hi, as a club we have a lot of slide shows created by members over a period of time. Is is possible to run these sequentially as a multishow? Perhaps a batch file would do it. This would be from the exe files, I know it could be done from avi/mp4 but in most of the projects we only have the exe files. Peter
  2. Yes, you can edit the sound with PTE and I can see the way to dip the volume etc. However you cannot line up the tracks to do that accurately - it comes up in a separate window that has no relation to the timeline. All I want to do is an accurate way to dip the background track under a voice over. Pete
  3. Thanks Guys. That's more or less what I had to do Umberto, but looking forward to the next version! Peter
  4. Hello I have been using P2E for the last few years (not all the time though) but I am now making a mini documentary so this is the first time I have had to use the audio multitrack feature to add VO and music. I'm finding it difficult to dip the music down when a voice comes in - lining it up I mean. Seems very difficult to do accurately. I am a video editor and in the end I did the audio mixing in my NLE. In there all the tracks are lined up under each other and I can set nodes to dip the volume where I need it. Very easy and simple. Perhaps a new feature sometime unless I'm missing something! Peter
  5. I have as well today. Please delete him. Peter
  6. Yes, the dissolves on this are a bit quick!! However I have now downloaded and installed the 5.6 beta and the problem is solved. The .exe file now plays properly. Thanks for all comments. Peter
  7. The images are all fairly small - 1024 x 768. In the particular sequence there are about 30 pictures with slightly less than one second duration and with a 500ms dissolve on each one. Happens at about 75% in the sequence, on a couple of slides then is ok. Peter
  8. Hi All I'm a newcomer to the program and am having a problem with the output creating a slide show. The project plays fine from the timeline but when outputting, it losing some of the dissolves on a particular sequence. I don't get any error messages and output proceeds ok. This is a particularly fast sequence and .exe file 'cuts' the couple of slides it affects, then carries on as normal. (the same slides each time). I mean cut as in no dissolve. This does it in the preview as well but not whilst playing back from the timeline. I'm using v5.5 Anyone have any ideas? Peter Nvidia Geforce 9600GT AMD Phenom Quadcore 3 gig RAM
