  2. Slideshow club upload.

    Bill ,I have followed the instructions on the site but get NO FILE WAS SELECTED FOR UPLOAD even thought when the download progression is complete it shows the file name in a pink bar.

    I suspected it had been how I had created the zip file so I followed Eric's video and got the same result.

    Do I need to rename the zipped file before loading.

    I thought I might put a show up on Slideshowclub.

    I created a Safe exe file for internet. and tried to upload.

    The programme goes through the motions and shows the upload scale working but at the end says no file selected for upload.

    What am I doing wrong.

    Hi all

    I come to this a little late but I am interested in passing the info to my group.

    Lin is right (I know don't need to tell him that :) ) but I have saw mention of Elements being used and I don't think it has the facility to convert CMYK. At least mine doesn't.

    I have an old PS7 version which does have the facility and I was able to simulate the problem.

    Just waned to mention the PS Elements point.

    Hello Ray

    A very popular subject in A.V. competition. I'm sure you are aware that one of the objections to it is the use or over use of archive images.

    You have succeeded in avoiding this ( I am assuming most of the images of men in uniform are your own) and producing a very good sequence interpreting the song.

    I asked this question before but got no resolution.

    PTE work as normal when I am creating a sequence.

    when I preview either by double click on screen or preview button I get.......

    ' Application not rated by NVIDIA.

    Rating unknown'

    The sequence shows but has an overall orange cast.

    The same happens with a published sequence.

    The same sequence show as normal on my laptop so it has something to do with my desktop.

    Any ideas

    Hello Peter, that's as far as I got. I tried every other thing I could think of hence my question.

    His description is the std layout and he was able to move the line but still gets no image when selected only slide no.

    He tried a ver. 6 while we spoke and it worked seems to be something he is doing in ver7

    Using ver. 7.0 PTE, Why can I not see selected images in the slide bar, only slide no.,

    I have expanded the bar width to no avail and can find no reason for this.

    Please ignore the fact that I am talking about ver 7. the question is to me not by me.

    Amazing beautiful images. Seldom have I seen such clarity outside of the likes of the BBC etc. The depth of field achieved is terrific. Can we enquire what equipment was used?

    Besides the photography I also enjoyed the sequence, nice pace, not too much animation and interesting choice of music.

    Brilliant Macro insect shots. They always seem to win the open competitions at my photo club and I am sure most of these would as well.

    The success of natural history images in clubs must be universal. If beaks and feathers as I refer to them appear you can nearly guarantee other images will be also rans. I think people are mesmerised by the detail. I enjoy the images but prefer to see some pictorial aspect in the composition. I am speaking here of Club Comps and not referring to the images here.

    We haven't spoken for a while.

    Really enjoyed your sequence. Very nice flow thorough.

    Excellent photography particularly the first few images .They look almost 3D.

    I was going to ask about tripod but I see you mention a monopod.

    Were the first images HDR.

  18. Nividia warning

    I am still having this NVidia warning problem.

    When I play the exe. file the NVidia card flashes up that the programme is not rated by NVidia.

    The show plays but with a distinct overall orange cast.

    The strange thing is that it appears to be random. Appearing with some files and not others.

    I just finished a project and sure enough when I played the exe. up came the warning. It will play normally on my laptop though.

    However on this occasion I had an administrator warning asking to allow the programme to change. Having clicked OK the programme ran as normal.

    My question now is ,is there something I should be telling the computer, to permanently allow the running of PTE exe. files?

    Just came across your sequence.

    I'm glad I pauseD and downloaded it.I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing (IT STRUCK A CHORD).

    I thought maybe a calendar rather than the clock ,but No the clock worked fine and the ending brings the attention back again for the final few seconds.

    Enjoyed your reading of the poem (good voice).

    Finally its great to see an A.V. that's not just a slide show.

    A question on behave of a friend who is about to replace an aged laptop.

    Dedicated graphics seems to be the preferred option for running and producing our sequences. However my question is if the laptop is only being used to show sequences produced on a desktop and for the occasional use when remote from the desktop would integrated graphics do the job? If so it greatly reduces the cost of laptop replacement.
