  1. Hi Guido, no, but that would be a good test, I'll try it at the weekend Paul
  2. Hi Guido, yes thats right. And only on a file which does not use sync music Paul
  3. Hi Guido, thanks for the tip, but thats not the problem. I have another show I have produced with the same music and it works. The only difference I can conclude is that the music is synchronised and on the problem show it is not. Paul
  4. Hi everyone, I have been using PTE for about a year and its super. Now the bad part. I am having problems when creating a DVD. The sound files which I have attached to several slides (which then runs for 20 - 30 slides) does not appear on the AVI file. Even in preview mode: It works fine when I run the EXE file. Also a strange effect is that extra sounds that I have attached to single slides does appear. The files are all MP3 and are in the same Directory as the JPGS. I am running on an XP system with PTE vers. 4.30 Thanks for your help ! Paul
  5. Hi Marco, I have just checked out the demo and read the comments. The demo is great and I have already downloaded Granots program. All I've got to do now is get a copy of the Flash editor and learn a whole new world. It's certainly interesting and I agree that at pressent it is best used for 'sexing up' the titles and maybe a trick or two in between. Great work. I'll let you all know when I have got something worth showing Paul
  6. Hi All, the same effect , or is a feature ?? is in 4.14 , the only sensible way is to make the button and text into a jpg or gif then this doesn't happen anymore Paul
  7. Hi Granot, I just read your entry with interest, I haven't tried any thing in this area yet, but you pointed me in the right direction. Keep up the good work Paul
  8. Hi, I uploaded an example of our slideshow PostCD Hamburg yesterday onto BEECHBROOK.COM. This is a highly compressed shortened version of our first CD. The original .EXE file is 181 MB so I've cut out all the sound and text and compressed the JPGS. Hope you enjoy it Paul
  9. Thanks guys ! I have implemented the mute.exe but with a button on each sub-set of slides. But I think i'll try the volumeslider on my next project. I'll download the new version and try it at the weekend. OK ? Using PTE really is good, especially the forum cu Paul
  10. Hi Everybody ! Thanks for the various suggestions. I have tried Volumeslider works good, but how do you get it to finish with the slideshow ? Mutesound crashes with "FMOD couldn't initialize Directsound sound device" on my WIN98 PC. I'll try it tomorrow in the office on XP As to the solution with the ยด'BIG' button, sounds great and I'll try it out but its a bit too complicated for adding to the already completed 250 slide show. I guess I'll just wait for Igor to implement the sound on/off in the navi bar. Paul
  11. Hi everybody, I am new to the forum but I have spent quite a few hours creating some presentations with this super software I have included a navigation bar in my presentation with all options set. BUT... it would be nice to be able to turn the sound on/off during the slideshow (approx. 250 images in 10 different catagories). In each catagory start image I have included the ruhe!.vbs script behind a button and it works fine turning the sound on/off, but it only works on those slides. Enough description... a sound button in the navi bar would be good...any better solutions Paul
