  1. I have made several avi files using the "custom" function. I made these using a panasonic codec. The resulting file for my main project came out at just over 4 GB. Studio 8 and click to DVD (sony software) cannot open it. I tried making several other files of the same project using less pictures and the small files opened fine. Is there a maximum avi file size that pte can make? There were no error or other messages when the large file was created. Has anyone else had problems making large files in the custom function? I'm fairly new at this, so any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I have created "custom" avi files using a panasonic codec. small files work just fine in both studio 8 and click to DVD (sony software). When I create a large file for the entire project, ( 4 gig) neither program can open them. Is there a size limit on the avi files that can be made using pte? I'm new at this and any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I downloaded the trial version of ulead movie factory after trying in vain to get either "click to DVD" (Sony software) or pinnicle studio 8 to open the avi files. Installed the trial version of movie factory and imported the video file. Ran the preview and it worked like a charm. Tried to write to a CD 3 times (each time using a newly created video file) and got the Message "failed to convert video file, error 80041c21". Each time the message occurred at a different spot during the process. Anyone else having similar problems? Can't get any tech support for trial versions from Ulead.
  4. does anyone else think it would be a great feature to have the ability to rotate slides 90 degrees? to me, this would be a very welcome addition.
  5. I am a new user who is trying to add comments to my slides. I can make the customized settings for a slide, but when I go to a new slide, the customized settings disappear. I do not want to set the font, size, color, alignment, shadow size each time a want to add a comment to a slide. Is there anyway to save the customized settings so that when I come to a slide I want to add a comment to, the customized settings are available? Sure would appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks.
