Hi Lennart

Have you tried a different font, your ss shows times new roman, try aireal or something different. Just guessing

Thanks Eric! Sadly, I think I have tried them all. :(

Lennart,

Will the following technique achieve the result that you want:

Open a new Microsoft Word document, set your basic font (for example Times New Roman) and type your text there, when you need a special character proceed as follows:

- Insert Symbol

- Within the Symbol window, set the desired font (for example, Times New Roman)

- Select the special character that you need

When you have all your text in the Word document, cut and paste from Word to PTE's text box, ensuring that the font name in PTE is the same as the font used in Word (for example Times New Roman)

I haven't tried this myself but it is how I would attempt it.

regards,

Peter

Lennart,

You may use the Windows system tool "Character Map" (charmap.exe). It allows you to copy Unicode characters (and others) to the clipboard which then can be pasted into the PTE text object. For ASCII characters: Look for the decimal code of your character in an ASCII table, and type this code into PTE using the number block of your keyboard (important) while pressing the Alt-key.

Xaver

Thanks all!

Well, I tried all of your ideas - but no.

So I went the hard way of:

1. Copy/paste the Google translation into a Word-document.

2. Made some layout adjustments.

3. Copy/paste the text from Word as a textblock into a new file

in Photoshop - transparent background - and saved as PNG-file.

4. In PtE in OA replaced the TEXT OBJECT with the PNG-image and

repositioned/zoomed etc.

There´s nothing like hard work...

Lennart

did you consider making the show all in Polish

don't know if you could set up an English and a separate Polish program named appropriately -- of course you woud have to be fluent in both

then copy and paste the polish settings into the english program -- dont know whether the symbols would carry over or not

Igor can this be done??

Ken,

Yes, but I did not do a new installation but

just changed language to Polish - but no.... :(

Although I don´t know all the tricks in the book

I guess I am quite good at the method of try and error.

However, I worked hard for it and like to thank my mother,

who never understood me ´cause my silly way of speaking,

and etcetera...
