We attended the 2012 Tattoo in Edinburgh in August before our USA trip.

The new producer of the tattoo is an old C.O. of mine Brigadier David Alfrey.I got the chance to talk to him prior to the start and to catch up in some areas.

It was as good as I expected. This marks our 10th year at the tattoo and we will continue to support and enjoy it as long as we can.

Hosted on Beechbrook.com - My thanks to Bill for his patience with me.

The theme this year was ' Industrial Scotland and the Diamond Jubilee.

Hi Andrew,

Having seen some of your military shows before I thought this was by far the best. The photography was first class and I know it is not easy to get so many good shots under difficult circumstances. The show zipped along at a very nice pace and the music added to the experience. Perhaps a tad long for some of us non military types but I see you had the Nav Bar available - but I didn't use it.

Thanks Mick, I upgraded to a Nikon D5100 with a battery of lenses / accessories before we went stateside. So I was hoping for an improvement in my overall quality.

I do tend to get carried away when its military stuff I know. Cant help myself tho.

I'm on the move again today cause its regimental dinner night tonight. Looking forward to seeing some old friends again.

Andrew
