Error X264.exe in Video Builder

I got a finshed show, which was created in PTE 7.

While creating a Video for IPhone 5 / HD Video (under Windows 8), I received an Error Message "x264.exe".

The same error also appears, when I try this with PTE 7.0 (running on Windows 8)

This was working with PTE 7 / Windows 7 without any problems.

(Hardware is the same).

Regards

Heinz

Hi Heinz,

Does it happen on just one slideshow or any slideshow you create in Windows 8? Maybe try creating simple slideshow with no music and test again.

I am running Windows 8 Pro on my Macbook Pro (Boot Camp dual boot). Both PTE 7.07 and 7.5 have no problems creating HD and mobile device videos.

Does Windows 8 event viewer show any error messages related to PTE or x264?

Thanks,

Tom

Hello Tom,

This error came as well on a simple project. (Only pictures and no sounda and only simple transitions)
