David Allan Posted December 13, 2006 Report Share Posted December 13, 2006 Hi all,First post and I end up looking for help!!In PTE5 beta 8a when I press the preview button I get the following error message "Access Violation at address 004B0000 in APR.EXE, Write address FA60A 101" and the program freezes up, this only seems to happen when trying to make text scroll over the Main Image in the Animation Editor, I believe I have set the Start and Finish points correctly.Does any of You knowlegeable People know whats causing the error?Regards: DavidSystem Spec:Windows 98SE, 512 MB Ram, Asus V9570/256 on board Memory, DirectX 9.0c Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

All is OK,1) What happens if you press Create button to produce EXE file with slide show. Does it work?2) I prepared special test version, please download and install it:http://www.wnsoft.com/test/Beta8a_Var1.zipWhen you press Preview button you should see a series of message boxes (like "Point 1", "Point 2", etc.)Please let me know after what text message you'll see Access Violation error. It will help me to find exact place of the problem.2) Try this example of slide show http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/show/Flowers.zipHow it works on your PC?
