  1. I have recently upgraded to the latest version, Deluxe 9.0.22, opened a large project from the previous version but cannot get it to produce an .exe file. I have applied a slide style to all slides to show the filename. When I publish it to produce an exe file, it hangs for ages but appears to produce it. When you try to open it I get a message saying this app won't run on my pc (see attached screenshot). I produced a new, simple project with only a couple of files and the same slide style applied and it worked fine. I also redid the original project again but it still did not work. Is it that there are too many/too big files? There are approximately 580 files which are approximately 12-17 mb each. One thing that is really annoying is that the overall file sizes are enormous. This one ended up at 7.5 GB. Since it is only going to be seen at screen resolution this appears to be overkill, which is probably why my computer won't handle it. I used to use ASee DCee, which never had that problem.
  2. Thanks for that, all sorted now. I was using Essentials which was part of the problem and didn't give me those options.
  3. Now I have the Deluxe version, I have created a style, but it is really not obvious how to apply it to the rest of the slides.
  4. That explains it, I am only using Essentials. Is there any discount for upgrading to Deluxe when I have only just purchased the version 9 Essentials?
  5. Hi, I am a wedding photographer and I want to produce a preview show which has the photo with an overlaid caption with the filename on it. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this automatically. I used to use ASee DSee which you could just alter the properties for all the slides so it would display the caption of filename without extension at top centre or bottom. I just can't find a way in PTE
  6. Thanks I have downloaded that and I have my files back, but I still can't open an existing project, it won't recognise the .pte files.
  7. I opened a recent project to make changes and got the attached error message. Although the slide files are still there and still appear to be linked (the files have not been moved), I cannot access the pictures in the file tree to add new ones. I can access the various folders but when you double click not a single file shows up, either other projects or images. It doesn't matter what drive I am trying to access. Attached screenshot shows the error message. I can add files by dragging from explorer, however this is rather annoying to do! How can I get to see my files again? Many thanks The error message reads Access violation at address 0075AF78 in module 'PicturesToExe.exe'. Read of address 00000000. I tried sending a message through the contact us form on the website, but it will not send it, saying verification is needed, it seems to be the field with the anti spam question, which whatever I type will not let me send the message.
