  1. I opened Video Builder and did the help and it does show now that I have free updates til Aug 2011 so I was looking in wrong place for that information. Way to go programming. Great minds think alike I guess.
  2. I too went to use the DVD builder yesterday to make a DVD of photos I had taken throughout the week for our VBS. Of course I had to have the DVD for services today. PANIC!!! I did the renewal thing on line figuring I was out of luck for getting this completed over the weekend. But to my glee, before I knew it there were two emails in my inbox and one contained the registration key. Followed the directions for updating it and it went so very smooth. So thanks to Igor and the staff the DVD was made. Thanks folks. One suggestion I would make is that since the expiration information is stored on my computer, I would like to be able to see that date when I select Help, About PicturesToExec. Would not have helped me this time because I had lost track when I paid my fee but maybe in the future. Max
  3. Dom, I know this is a big request but is there any chance of this action being compatible with Photoshop Elements?
  4. I downloaded one - CRA02-20.rar - and it is asking for the password for the encrypted file. I looked in original posts and thread and did not see any reference to that. Did I miss that somewhere?
  5. I have done a couple DVD with that uncheck and it worked fine for me.
  6. As I add text objects to my slide they always default to New Times Roman. I was wondering if it is a setting that I need to change or just not possible to where it will use whatever font I used last. Such as I am doing a show with Arial and every new text object is coming up Times Roman and I have to remember to change each one. Max
  7. Forget the request. I went back to the screen and did find what I was looking for. Should of figure the P2E staff would of thought of that option.
  8. As the title says, I was wondering if there is a way to have the VideoBuilder not include the startup menu and start the show as soon as the DVD is inserted. I have used other DVD creating software that has this but did not notice in the setup for creating the DVD a button to turn this off. Max
  9. Thanks for the response Dom, as usual you are right on top of things.
  10. HI Dom, I am a user of Elements, any chance of these actions coming out for that? These look fantastic as usual from you. Max
  11. What I think I gleemed from this is that if you have a child and do something like move or zoom on the parent it will do that to the child also. Interesting exe JPD. Is the project perhaps available to download and look at that way? Think I understand it so if not then no big deal. Will just play around with some of mine and see if I can work through a similiar concept. Max
  12. I have been searching through message and project demo's, knowing that something has been said/shown to explain the advantages/uses of these features. But I have not found the right ones yet or maybe I am just not understanding what is being presented. I know I am missing a valuable capability since all mine are just parent photo's on each slide. Could someone point me in the right direction(s). Thanks, Max
  13. Thanks Al that helped. But now I wonder if there is a way at the same time to cause one side only to shrink from top and bottom. Kind of like a perspective on the frame because I think that would add a little more realism. Max
  14. I did a quick search and found how to rotate a object around a central point such as the hands on a clok or the ElkRotate that Linn posted. What I am looking for is how to rotate a picture frame in an upright position so it looks as if you turn it over and look at the back and the rotate it back to the front again. Actually the effect I am looking for is the picture frame with one picture and after it rotates 180 degress to what would be the back is another picture. Hopefully I explained myself well. Our church has an annual Sweetheart Dinner where the men prepare ALL the food, serve the ladies, do the dishes, and provide some entertainment. This year part of the entertainment is a slide show of the ladies at various stages of their lives. I did one about 4 years ago with P2E but of course we did not have the options we have now. This is forcing me to learn more of the software features. Thanks Max
  15. Thanks for the responses. After I read them I remember a few months back it coming up nad how sweet a change it was. As most I need more time to become more familiar with P2E as well as my new Photoshop Elements 5.0 Next month will have about 3 weeks or more of recovery time after surgery so hopefully some learning time. Max
  16. When using the object editor in version 4.4 you could do a preview for say 640 X 480 and see if all your object would fit on the screen. I cannot seem to find that in version 5. Anyone help? Max
  17. I currently have Photoshop Elements 3 and am pondering an upgrade to either of those in the topic. True the lesser price would be the Elements 5 route but it sounds like the CS2 may be worth the extra dollars. I see TheDoms actions for CS2 as well as from a lot of reading on how useful the CS2 is. I have had time to barely scratch the surface on what I have but feel the need to get deeper into Photoshop in some form as well as more time with my camera. Has anyone on the forum gotten the new Elements 5? Or anyone used both CS2 and 5 to suggest which way to go. Thanks, Max Retired USMC
  18. To me this is a major addition to the P2E offerings. The only thing I am waiting for is where and how to I make the payment.
  19. I have seen many posts about members doing P2E presentations for various groups and I am pretty sure that most of you are not tied to your computers to control the presentations. I have been using a wireless mouse to control mine but that is limited on distance and very cumbersome during the presentation. I have been looking at the Logitech 2.4GHz Wireless Presenter for about $55. Was wondering if I could get some advice from you all? BTW, I am getting a few minutes here and there to learn the 5.0 beta, struggling but thanks to tuturials and sample presentations I am making headway. Great job by the P2E staff. 20. Thanks for the responses. I have looked at a couple and will check them out in more detail today.
  21. I thought I saw it on this forum but a search did not turn up what I was looking for. I am using WinAmp to listen to some nice slow Jazz and was wanting to capture that and have tried Audiocity but does not work. Can anyone suggest how to record that music? Thanks,
  22. Steve: I have been lurking and viewing quite a few presentations over the years that I have been a member of this forum. I have seen many creative shows and this was one of the best I have viewed. Such creativity and talent. As I shared it with my wife (commercial artist) we both sit there at the end expecting it to fly off the screen. Great job.
  23. Howdy, Hate to be a me too, but am really interested in this also. Please if it does not get posted elsewhere include me in the emailing list. Thanks,
  24. I tried beta #1 this weekend and could not figure out where my .avi was after it finished creating it. I looked in the directory, during the creation there was a file there but as soon as I hit Finish it was gone. Finally figured out that Finish deleted the file. So I copied to another directory before clicking Finish and then had the file, I thought. 1. Why does P2E have to delete the file when you click Finish? 2. When I opened the .avi in Ulead, I had the music but not pictures. Was it because I copied it to a different directory? Figured the file would have everything I needed? Max
