Thank you so much Jinese and jt49 for answering my query and also for making the video of instructions. I am going to try and follow it. I appreciate your kindness.
I am glad to say that your English is much better than my non existent Spanish or any other language.

Now for a really basic question. How do I get the mask to show white? No matter how I try with the circular mask template I get a transparent circle. How do I get it white?
Thank you again.

Javier and Dave, a huge thank you for your help and for the styles. I can now convert the Proshow examples to play in PTE. Should keep me quiet for a while. I hadn't thought of creating the border by expanding the mask. Simple when you know how.

Thanks Dave. I have been able to get 3 images using masks. Can't figure out how to get a border around the insert pictures or some sort of a division. I am just surprised that this can't be easily achieved in PTE. Remember I am a novice but trying! My image editor has templates for postcard like images and I could use those but this is a challenge.

Thank you for trying to help jienense. Your method will get me one image on the background but I would like to have 3 or 4 images just like a postcard. I suspect it requires multiple masks which I haven't figured out how to achieve yet or if it is even possible in PTE Av Studio.

Thank you for the suggestion. I shall give it a try.

Great news about the bolt. There is usually something missing from the kits! Enjoy your rides on it.

Rosy I enjoyed your show. Your Tridoo Pedal Rickshaw looks a lot of fun. One concern I had as I watched the seat area being attached to the mainframe is that one side was secured by 2 bolts and the other only had one securing it to an open ended slot. I hope there are two bolts each side. ( Can you guess that I was the safety first person when I was working!)

Thank you again. You are a PTE AV Studio genius. BTW I have now been able to download the second link. Guess it pays to be 11 hours behind Russia. Everyone else is asleep!

Thank you DG for trying to help. I am afraid that I was making no progress beyond finding the Settings Preference >system screens. My problem was compounded by my not remembering what setting I changed. Anyhow I have redownloaded PTE AV Studio and all appears to be well.

Hi denisb. Thank you for your post. Could you be a little more explicit please? I can get Settings> Preferences but can't see where to double click on "slide list" Sorry.

Hi, I followed someone's advice some time ago to tick a setting to enable access to O&A by double clicking on the slide in the slide line. Works great but I am finding myself in the O&A screen whenever I select slides for a slide style. Can anyone tell me what setting that was suggested so as I can go back to default? Thank you,

Hi Stuart. I am also an ex Producer person. I am newish to PTE and still learning my way around the program. I also use a lot of text and would dearly love to be able to set the text size at the beginning. Anyhow as an addendum to my original post. I chose the background for the text, enter the text and zoom it to a size I want usually with the first line and then continue the text on that slide. Subsequent text slides I copy the original and place it wherever it is needed. I then remove the text from the copied slide and write the new text. It is a pain having to do this but it works for me and at least the text is a uniform size.
You can set text font/colour as DaveGee has shown. Good luck,

I can claim no expertise in beers but yes, Poteen brewed in the mountains is supposedly very good.

I had this issue recently - the dreaded “missing files” what I did was go to Properties screen in the O&A and click on the small down arrow to the right of “Pictures” and point PTE to the appropriate pic or missing file. Worked for me although there is probably a less cumbersome method.

The plane hesitated over the farmlands of Donemana - my home, so at least the plane had good taste. Perhaps the pilot was wanting to treat the passengers to real beer

That was most enjoyable. One could just feel the strength of those beautiful horses. Great show and thanks for sharing.

Thank you Jean-Cyprien. I have learned a lot today and I have just removed the middle KF. My plane does not want to stop mid air anymore over N. Ireland!

Thank you for sharing this Alex. It amazes me how you can keep track of all the different components! Great job and I love the music.
