  1. I'm working on my own simple video using a trial version of Studio 10 as I watch Barry Beckham's "Basic Video" tutorial. I'm trying each step he discusses on my own video, and everything is working fine until he gets to using keyframes to delay the appearance of the text on the background scene. I cannot get keyframes to appear even though I have selected "Text," and even right clicked on "Add Keyframes" in "Tools." If I click on the picture, rather than text, keyframes readily appear. Originally the text frames were appearing sporadically, but would disappear when I attempter to adjust them. Eventually they would not appear at all.
  2. Thanks for all the help., and I'll look forward to watching your tutorial, Lin. Right now I'm having a problem with animating text on a screen using keyframes as I watch Barry Beckham's Basic Video Tutorial. I'll address that in a separate query.
  3. I found my mistake, but I appreciate you taking the time to reply to my post.
  4. I have been creating slide shows for several years using a different slide program, but I'm new to Studio 10. I'm trying to create a Title Page in Studio 10 . My problem is in adding a Title to the Title Page. After much searching, I found that I needed to select "Slide" from the Menu bar, then select "Objects and Animations" from the drop-down menu. While I'm not ready yet for animations, I selected this option, then selected "T" from the Menu Bar. This opened a Project window that allowed me to select the font. While there didn't seem to be a way to select the font size, I was able to drag the text on the main window to resize it. But my question now is how to change the text color. I saw the blank box and should have realized it was for setting the font color, but I didn't. I don't need a reply to this post.
  5. I went to one of my folders that had PNG files and tried again to upload several of them. They uploaded with no problem. I have no idea why I was having trouble earlier. But, perhaps you can tell me how to get them into the slide list as layers.
  6. I Have a lot of PNG files. I have made the backgrounds transparent. When I call up my file lists in Studio 10 and try to upload them, the jpgs show up and can be moved into the slide lists, but the PNG files show up in the file list as some kind of flower icon. I’m used to using ProSho Producer. To create animation I load up my PNG files and set them as levels within the slides. The PTE tutorial I’ve watched about masking shows animation created using Parents and children, but it isn’t very sophisticated animation.
  7. How can background around an object be totally masked out to make everything except the object invisible. To be used in animation. ProShow used masked PNG files, which PTE AV Studio 10 cannot load, and made it a "Layer." I believe, in Studio 10, the object would be the child of a parent image. The question is how to make the background of the child totally transparent.
