  1. Hi Andrew! I hope JRR will respond to this topic. 5+ years ago he kindly send me a copy of his work on his family history using PtE. I think Al Robinson at that time helped him out. It is a interactive collection of PtE-shows on a CD. Very well done. I have been in genealogy for more than 20 years but have yet to get myself together to do my own CD. It is a long work but very exciting at times. You will learn a lot of history, family history as well as local, industrial, war etc. along the way. /Lennart
  2. Hi Jean! Older versions of PtE cannot open projects made in newer versions. That is: a project made in ie. Ver 4.48 and opened in Ver 6, and then saved, will be saved as Ver 6. Then you cannot open the project in Ver 4.48. So you have to decide in that case if you need the older version of your project. And, if so, save it under a new/changed name. Regards/Lennart
  3. Thanks Lin! I will give it a second chance (or third, or forth, or ...). Merry X-mas/Lennart
  4. Hi friends! What setup shall I use in PtE 6.0 Deluxe Edition for making a videofile for a NextBase PhotoM@il-X digital photo frame? Specs: # 8" digital TFT display (800x600) # Support 802.11/g WiFi-connection # Support MP3 in audio playback # Support Video (Motion JPEG, MPEG-4, Xvid, DivX 4 & 5 in AVi-format) I have been fighting the frame for 6+ hours. It kills me... Regards/Lennart
  5. Ken, I guess you have to soap up your ears. 1896 Peugeot! No more, no less. /Lennart
  6. Hi Boogie! Try an update of your driver and check if the Nvidia Control Panel loads. Here is a link: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_175.19_whql.html /Lennart
  7. I think you made it... I feel thirsty! /Lennart
  8. On Beechbrook.com you can download Andrew Chadwicks AV Show Menu Tutorial Tutorial. And a lot of other useful Tutorials and Utilities... /Lennart
  9. Hi Eric! Ha!!! I am as bad as you on Photoshop. But this time I can help you. What is missing in 5. is the way to get rid of the moon. After copying to the clipboard just Close the moon pix and you will see your new transparent pix. Then Paste. /Lennart
  10. Jean! http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/order.htm then go down to "If you have bought Standard edition you can upgrade to Deluxe edition for $34. Click here" /Lennart
  11. Looks correct to me. Your post reminded me to do the same. Thanks. /Lennart
  12. Hi all! To round off this topic: I have finished my project using - in part - the digital demo-voices (with annoying background music) on the Loquendo site. The result was not outstanding but "not that bad" or something in that direction. Some tweaking in Audacity was made and it helped a little. Thanks all for helping me out. /Lennart
  13. Run smooth. Maybe the soundlevel can be boosted in Audacity? /Lennart
  14. On the subject of Voice-overs I think it is time to remind all of the fantastic bjc 2005 production The Grand Tour with narration by Brigadier John Huntington-Smithe. Perhaps bjc or Ken can provide a link for downloading? /Lennart
  15. Hi Moelwyn! To get around your problem: 1. Post it on www.beechbrook.com for everyone to see 2. or use www.mediafire.com where you can restrict the download Then you just mail the link. Regards /Lennart
  16. Hi Gilio! Downloading no problems. Run smooth. I guess Barry sums it up nicely. Having my roots in the construction business I expected to be shown more of the over all picture and the scale of the project. You have found some good photo angles and as stand alone pictures I think they are good. /Lennart
  17. .exe run smooth. No problem. Nice pixtures. /Lennart Spec: AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 2.00 GHz, 3.00 BG RAM NVDIA GeForce 8400GS, 512 MB Samsung SyncMaster 206BW/SyncMaster Magic CX206BW (Digital)
  18. Yachtsman1 Please, don´t set sail and leave the forum! There are a lot of members following the debate and discussions on the forum and enjoy it and learn from it but never post anything. The forum may sometimes remind me of the British Parliament but never the less the bottom line is that there is always something to be learned. So, keep up the good work, Yachtsman1. Do not give up the forum. /Lennart
  19. Ken! Yes, certainly as I suggested the most expensive stamp in the world. It was of course my idea to cut out the center piece. It is an interresting question if the perforated sides are covered by the law. /Lennart
  20. Ok, it was just an idea. I have to learn... /Lennart
  21. Well. Using the perforated part of actual stamps. Then you get a more realistic look. /Lennart
  22. Run smoothly. Opening and closing of album shows uncorrect. When turning the first page the right side will grow and when closing it would shrink. It could improve using actual stamps as templates. Yes, I agree regarding the red bands... /Lennart
  23. Hi All! Finally this Off topic topic came back to it´s original Off topic topic. I find Barrys comments adds a subject to my Someday to do list. I have attended and also been organizing a lot of such events as Auto Shows etc. and never thought of the "background noise" problem. However, next to do is to raise the question with as many organizers as I can think of. /Lennart
