Hi Andrew! I guess the following will not help you very much but rather add to confusion . In my local daily there was a story of a class of teens visiting Auschwitz. The newspaper photographer put up a short slideshow on the net. I guess it will be up for a few more days. http://w2.sydsvenskan.se/bildspel/asjauschwitz/ Her pictures shows the problem with visitors too. The "voiceover" is actual ambient sounds and voices from the 15 year old kids. For some time I have been working on a slideshow of a polish woman during the last months of WWII based on pictures from the net. The "intro" covers Auschwitz as she was borned in the nearby village Reisko. Captions are "maltreated" by google and myself as they are originally in my native language. It´s appr. 5 min and 5MB and can be downloaded from mediafire http://www.mediafire.com/?ytwomcm2ln4 The two AV:s show the different use of new colorpictures and original b/w. In my opinion I don´t think colorpix made b/w adds to this kind of AV. The quality of modern colorpictures I think makes it possible to crop and zoom quite a lot while the net-b/w have to go as is. Hi All! For some time I have been working on an AV of the fate and fortune of a polish woman during the last months of WWII. She stayed at KZ Ravensbück, Salzgitter-Bad and KZ Bergen-Belsen and ended up in a refugee camp in Sweden. During her time in the camp in Skinnskatteberg, Sweden, she collected small greetings and poems in a Notes book. Images from this book will be in my AV. As I think it would be nice to have some voiceover on those poems and greetings my request is for MP3-files of female voices aged 20 - 30 years old in german and polish reading the poems. It is two very short ( 2- 4 lines ) texts in polish and the same in german. Can someone help me out? /Lennart

FRANKFURT, Germany: Heinz Barth, a former SS officer convicted of involvement in the massacre of an entire village in Nazi-occupied France, has died, a priest in the town where he lived said Tuesday. He was 86. Barth died of cancer in the past few days, said Heinz-Dieter Schmidtke, the parish priest in Gransee, north of Berlin. He could not provide the exact date of Barth's death and did not say where he died. In 1983, a court in East Berlin convicted Barth and sentenced him to life in prison for his role in the slaughter of villagers in Oradour-sur-Glane in 1944. These news came the other day. The PtE-show Oradour - a personal response is what got me going in PtE a few years ago. Although the new version of PtE have a lot of extras and fancy tools "Oradour" shows how much could be done with 4.48. It´s not always fancy tools that makes up a good and impressive show.
