  1. Hi I am trying to find out if PTE has the ability to place a border around an image To explain - say that I have an initial image, and I then want to place a second, smaller image on top, with the initial image becoming the background. I would like to create a thin border round the smaller overlay image, to help differentiate it from the background I have previously done this, whithin Photoshop, by resizing and placing a stroke round the image Is it possible to do something similar directly in PTE ? Any advice would be appreciated Fergy
  2. Now I am back, I have tried suggestion It does seem to help when zooming out - but not wholly Initial zoom out now is faster, while latter part of zoom slows down Still not wholly consistent feel, but definitely a significant improvement Perhaps the guys could tweek this adjustment slightly to balance this out Again thanks for the help Fergy
  3. Thank you for the advice Just going out but will try this when I get back this evening Fergy
  4. Apologies if this has been raised before, but perhaps someone can help On creating a show in the latest beta version, I have noticed that when zooming out of a picture the action seems to accelerate as the angle widens. This may be an optical illusion, but it can be a bit disconcerting Has anyone else experienced this ? Am I doing something wrong ? Can it be avoided/controlled ? All advice welcome Fergy
  5. Al After a hard week at work - back at the PC Thanks for the input Unfortunately ............. Tried new music - still same problem Tried Beechwood - no problems Presentation originally running on large files. ie 100 images - 350 Mb inc 7 Mb panorama - have now tried with only 3 images - and seems to work, although initially apears a little clunky - so may be to do with power of PC etc Having said that I have previously run presentations at least double this size with no problem on same PC Now about to attempt quick test with another presentation - with already resized images Again - help much appreciated Fergy
  6. Lin thanks for the quick response will try your suggestions, and let you knwo how I get on Lin Removing music seems to sort the problem What now ? Fergy
  7. Help ! 2 queries Trying out latest Beta #5 While I am within 'Object & Animation' the various zooms & pans work fine Having created a slide with a 60 second display time - and checking that it is still there on the timeline, the slide only displays for the 'standard' 4 secs that all the other slides are displaying, although it valiantly makes a fleeting attempt to reappear over the next slide I also am not sure how to exit from 'Object & Animation' when zooms/pans all set up - I am simply using the X in the top right corner - this may be part of my problem Just back from holiday with lots of images crying out for this feature - if only I could use it Can anyone help, please ?
  8. Al Thanks for the advice, but what I was trying to achieve was an automatic jump back to the start of the menu presentation I think that Lin set out my query better than I did eg If I use Ulead DVD factory I can create a DVD with music on the menu from which I can choose any one of number of presentations I am effectively trying to recreate this feel by using a P2exe presentation - just can't work out how to restart the music Fergy
  9. Hi I have had similar problem, and appreciate the advice My next difficulty is when my menu chosen presentation finishes and I want to get back to my menu screen, but which again has background music playing Is it possible to have an action on a slide which says 'go to slide No 1' for example, rather than 'run external application' Forgive me if it's there already - but help Fergy
  10. I am new to Picturestoexe, less than 1 day, following an AV presentation at local photo club Looks excellents, but as with many others I see in this forum, I have difficulties with trying to create VCD/DVD When I create an AVI, I seem to create a file with an extension VIO Do I have some setting wrong ? Also, I have NERO which I have in the past used to create VCDs, but this does not seem to recognise VIO as a file type Can anyone help ?
