With the various size formats now required by the new generation of digital projectors can an option be included to provide the resizing of a sequence without the necessity to create a new file, copy and paste the images to it to allow their resizing to the required size followed by the necessity to reprogramme and create a new sequence to meet the new projector specifications? For example ones own projector may well require 1024x768 whereas some competions now require sequences with a digital image sizes 1620x1080 or 1400x1050.

I have created a sequence with PTE 6.0 which the waveform on the timeline shows the length of my music track to finish when my last image fades out i.e at the end of the sequence. However when I create a DVD video disc the music track finishes some 10-12 seconds before my last image fades. I have made two DVDs of the sequence both with this problem. It also occurred when I first created the executable file for PC (EXE). Any help to sove this problem would be appreciated DAB

I wish to rotate a propellar at the top of a wind turbine. I have made numerous attempts but all end in failure. I am able to get the propellar to rotate OK but it does not hold its position on top of the turbine and wanders off. I am no doubt missing the obvious - any tips would be most appreciated. I am using PTE v6 DAB

Excellent programme and looking forward to future updates. Just one small thing, is it possible to give some form of an indication to those images which contain an 'Automation' in the slide list? DAB

Hi Lin, Many thanks for your reply, but unfortunately changing the images to 'low quality of resize' in the Properties tag has not overcome the problem of the fine pulsating line down between the two images. DAB

Can anyone please assist I have a sequence made with PTE4.48 which has an image customized to 'slide right to left'. This produces a panoramic effect on screen and works fine in the older version of PTE. I now find that playing it in Deluxe 5 there is a very fine black dividing line down the screen between the two images. Any tips to overcome this would be very much appreciated DAB

Hi Lin, I am very new to using the Beta 5 version of PTE and have been very interested in your excellent articles on 'snow' and have created a PNG file without any difficulty. I have also downloaded Infanview Flash player. I am however still at a loss on how you create the snow falling animation effect as in your 'Stormcoming' AV . When you can find the time it would be very much appreciated if you could explain how this is achieved in PTE presentations. I am no doubt missing something somewhere but a tip in the right direction would be helpful. Best regards DAB
