Igor, ... when I play the examples, I see in the task manager that only one of my dual core amd cpu's are working on displaying the sample ... the other is almost idle ... is the new version only one thread? ... can you use both cpu's ...? ... what about hyper-threading ...?

Igor, Excellant work on the synch customization window.. One more improvement. Since many of us use this window extensively, would it be too difficult to have this window stay open all the time while we work on other areas of the presentation and have a "refresh" button to update the timeline? ... in other words, we can create new slides while the window is open. Thank you for an excellant program.

... I need to let the user "pause" the show but the "pause" action only stops the slides and not the music whether it's in the background or foreground synched or not synched... am I missing something..? ...TIA for any help..

...Bart..thanks for the tip...still very cumbersome... ....nobeefstu...works OK but it's hard to judge the length of lines before you place them on the slide...could still end up with a lot of unecessary tweaking...all that's really needed is a "bounding box" for the text objects instead of spreading the lines past the edges of the monitor... ...anyway, thanks for the feedback...and best of the new year to you both...

...ever try and place a paragraph as a text object on a slide...? ...it's impossible to navigate and hit the enter key at the same time to force the carriage return...this is a great program that needs better text handling before going off to do Flash or even AVI files...it's great for a few words but for more than 30 words, it's frustrating ...I realize not everyone would require so many words on a slide but PTE already has a text function...I say move it up a notch to allow paragraph handling with ease...this would help tremendously in producing our training material ...much thanks for a great program and a great forum...

...avi is an important tool besides just making dvd's...an avi file can be encoded to streaming formats for presentations on the web...this makes pte very desirable for a much expanded user and audience base...it's about time...pte is a great program but fewer and fewer people want to download or trade exe programs which are blocked by most browsers.....avi output will bring pte into the mainstream of multi-media ...smart move, Igor...looking forward to seeing it finished...
