I think this is all related to the problem I raised with Igor a few days ago, there is clear difference with the performance of 5.7.3 over 5.7.2. What seems to work in the window preview does not work in the actual preview.

PTE 5.7 Beta 3
Not sure if there is a bug related to the Preview Option in the latest version.
I am experiencing a problem where there is the wrong image displayed on two slides of twenty when I play in Preview but when I use the window preview it doesn't happen. The fault is also present when I create an .exe file. Can anyone through a light on the possible problem. I have double checked all my settings and this should not happen.
I have noted that if I run the same show in PTE 5.7 Beta 2 the problem goes away, what the problem is I don't know.

I have got it to open in Excel but thats has far as I can get to go, I have spoken to Al and he tells me that there are a number of changes in Excel 2007 and he will not be upgrading the package, I can understand it.

Not sure if things have changed but after upgrading to 5.7 Beta 3, I was asked to pay for an upgrade to my PTE Deluxe. I purchased the produce in 2007 and thought that it gave me upgrades of future product releases. I have paid for an upgrade, that is no problem because I am very happy with the service from WnSoft. Just wondered if things had changed.

This does come up from time to time, if Lin was about he would advise you better than I can, but the only option is to take your video and process it with a decompiler to create individual slides and then run them in PTE with a time interval to reflect the format of the original video. I have done this a couple of times and it works to some degree. If you do a search you are likely to find Lin's advice on the matter.

The conversion software I use is from Sothinkmedia, below is a link to their MP4 to SWF converter, I have not used it myself but I am very happy with the products that I have bought from them. I recently upgraded my computer and I had lost my registration key for the product I do have, I emailed them and by return they provided me with the original information. I was impressed.

The way I would look at this problem is to create an AVI file in PTE and from there create a WMV file using Windows Movie Maker, there maybe some loss of quality but for a website it should be OK. To create a SWF I would use the AVI file and find something like an AVI to SWF Converter, do a search on Google and you should find something to suit.

I have just bought a new desktop with Vista Home Premium and I cannot run your demo, it will not start, it starts eventually, but only by me contiually pressing the mouse. After a few seconds it is then all OK.

Good to see you back doing what you do so very well, innovative slideshow presentations. Great effect, wouldn't expect anything less from TheDom. Are you into flower photography now, how is the new camera working out, if these photographs are the result, pretty well I should think.

Have you seen the Microsoft Windows Live Photos slideshow. The background seems to change to suit the mood of the picture, not sure if it reads the colour profile of the picture or not. Anyway the effect is very good to my eye, is this a feature that we could build into future versions of PTE?
