I have purchased many versions of PTE, but have been away for a number of years, now want to use version 8. I have changed my computer and I have lost track of a Registration key, I have an REG.txt file but I do not know how to use this to get a License Key. I have email support, but as yet no reply, may be that they are all on holiday.

Hi Peter I have just noticed your Rubik's Cube demonstration, what a great effect. I tried it in an earlier version of PTE, but mine doesn't compare with your version. Very well done.

Fancy your own Website, if so why not have a look at Xara Graphic Solutions, it is priced at a reasonable cost and very straight forward with the ability to create roll over Nav Bars, pop-up photographs, a great number of templates. There is also a good number of video tutorials to look at and provide you with support. If you are interested, why not have a look Here.

I am very sorry to hear of the sad death of JPD, his work inspired me to look further into the use of PicturesToExe, as other have said, he will be sadly missed. We need some how to keep his memory alive.

Don From my experience with the software, you have nothing to loose and everything to gain. Enjoy.

Hi Don I have sort some further advice on your question and here is the reply. No, actually - Topaz Adjust's effects can't be achieved by any means in Photoshop. It basically tonemaps the image, but in a pretty specific way. Unless you were to dodge and burn each individual pixel in Photoshop to achieve the same look, there's no way to do it in Photoshop. (Although you can get somewhat close with curves/shadow highlights/vibrance/etc). As for noise reduction, there's simply no way to accomplish the same level of noise reduction in Photoshop as in Topaz Adjust or Topaz DeNoise. Lots of people like using Topaz Adjust after a Photomatix HDR conversion. Photomatix also contains a tonemapper, although it works differently than the one in Topaz Adjust. Hope that this is of some help to you in your decision making.

Hi Don Sorry for the delay in responding and John, no problem, this is what a forum is for, the best collective advice. Topaz Adjust is certainly very convenient and as John mentioned, possible better than the average user could achieve using Photoshop. Can I refer you to Scott Kelley's Photoshop Inside Review, this was based on ADJUST3, and most believe that ADJUST4 is an improvement. Here is the link to the Review. Hope that this helps, if you want to try a download of ADJUST4 and get a 30 day Unlimited Trial Key, then click Here. The Topaz ADJUST4 base price is $49.99. However, during the promotion period 1st - 15th March you can use a coupon code "newadjust", this will give you a saving of $10 resulting in a purchase price it for $39.99. The same coupon code will also work to save 20% on the Topaz Bundle, or bundle upgrades.

How can I create a flash version of a slideshow
mightec replied to mightec's topic in General Discussion
It turns out that Ronnie uses the same software as recommended by Lin, I downloaded a number of software packages and this did create the smallest file size. However, I decided to upgrade to SwishVideo3, a software package that I have used for sometime. Thanks for your help. -

How can I create a flash version of a slideshow
mightec replied to mightec's topic in General Discussion
Hi Lin That's a quick response, thank you as always for your help. I will give it a go, I assume it would have a better quality than my route, cheers. Happy Holidays. -
Hi I am not sure if this is possible or whether there is a plan to provide this facility but how do I create a flash version of a slideshow. At the moment I would create an avi file then convert this into a flash file using a secondary software, is this the only way or is there a more direct route.

A Stress Test for Really Good Video Systems
mightec replied to Lin Evans's topic in Slideshows & AV Shows
Hi Lin Thanks for sharing so quickly, I am glad to say my video card came through, the show was very smooth. The only problem is that it wetted my appetite but I am not sure how to be able to create the effects. -
That's about it, just 'SUPERB'

Hi Dom I enjoyed the Demo, its a clever idea, fast moving, a great concept, but then I don't expect anything but the best from your templates. The images also give out the pleasure of spending time on the beach with your children, or in my case grand children, well done.

Slideshows4U - Changing Places Template The Changing Places Template, by default contains 30 landscape images, with a 4:3 aspect ratio and we recommend an image size of 1024 px by 768 px. Unfortunately, the forum does not show the YouTube viewer at the correct aspect ratio, to view the template at the YouTube website, then click . This Demo, by default is played in SD quality. To view in HD quality click the HD button at the bottom of the display viewer. To view at full screen, click the second icon in from the right of the display viewer. For an even better quality display, download a virus free .exe file from Here.

Hi Lin I used to use Proshow Developer, which does have the video capability, but I thought that the quality would not be up to PTE, has this all changed? I assume that it is always good to have this facility, however, I seem to be more into still photography. With the use of animation, I seems to have dropped video footage.
