  4. Lin, Thanks very much for explaining this so well, and also the excellent tutorial. I now understand what its all about. So I can now have a play about with it. All the Best Neil
  5. I know this may be a stupid question but what is the difference between linear, smooth etc. on the zoom, pan rotate? I have tried altering them but can notice no change. Please excuse my ignorance. Neil
  6. John, Fantastic scenery and some great images,it certainly does make me want to visit. The only thing that I found was that some of the zooming was a little to fast, but perhaps that is just me as I would complain if the show went on for to long(which it doesn't). Thanks for showing it to us. All the best Neil
  7. Johnny, Thanks very much for sharing your slideshow,it certainly is a GREAT wall and you have some very nice images. The one thing that I would criticise is when the music changes.(Its a bit noticeable) But what do I Know.I really enjoyed it anyway. Neil
  8. Could anyone tell me the best way to find out about any up and coming slideshow competitions? Thanks Neil
  9. As always , a great original piece of work. I think Stephane is very skilled in his use of PTE. Neil
  10. David, Great show, really enjoyed the pace, and also a nice length. I do agree with the others that it would be better without the black and a simple background is, I think all you need. Thanks for showing us your work. Neil
  11. Tom, Thanks for sharing this with us and also telling how it was done as I was not sure. Neil

  13. Seen it now. Some nice photos but in my opinion a little long. Thanks Neil
  14. Hello, very keen to see your latest show as we live in Conwy at present but it does not seem to have reached beechbrook yet!! Neil
  15. Very nice show I liked the opening very much and as you say shorter shows are better. It is much better in my opinion to have several short shows as opposed to one long one. Thanks Neil
  16. Nothing earth shattering for my first show. I would love to hear all your comments. Thanks neil
  17. Thanks to you all for your replies. Neil
  18. I was wondering what the rules are about using music. When I eventually get round to it I will be putting a slideshow or two on Beechbrook. Is it alright to use any music or must it be copyright free. Thanks for any advice.
  19. I really enjojed this show the images are excellent . I find that some shows tend to be overlong, but this one got it just right and the music was perfect. Skies and cloud formations are great aren't they! You have inspired me to go out and photograph some. Thanks Neil
  20. Thanks for letting everyone see your slideshow. As a newcmer I hope you don't mind if I make comments. Some of the images are excellent and I found the whole show nicely paced (I find many far too slow) However my personal preference would be music and sound effects, but definitely NO voiceover. With best wishes Neil
