  1. Firstly congratulations Igor and the team on 4.10. I have been working on an Autumn show and it has been a pleasure to use the new versions. However in the quest for continual improvements I would love to see the following:- 1. When working in the customizable sync window it would be great to at the same time change the order of the images, I think you could almost have the customizable sync window on the main page along with the "image folder" window and the "images in the show" window. At the moment if you don't like a particular image in a certain position you have to go all the way back out to the main window to change it. I spend a lot of time in the customization sync window so in my opinion this should be what you see when you first open PTE. If this feature was too hard perhaps a quick toggle button that lets you switch instantly between the file windows and the customizable sync window? 2. Thumbnails in the file lists on both windows 3. Support for zooming and PANNING!!! 4. Output to AVI/MPEG 5. One tiny little thing, the very first slide in a show can not have its settings changed from the cust. sync. screen. Should there be a "to1" included on the timeline? All these things in a perfect world of course, and top marks to Igor and the team for producing and continually improving this fine software. Regards Andrew
  2. Hello everybody, long time since I have made an entry, on this site, but I do keep an eye on it. Just switched to XP and a much faster PC so have been enjoying that for the past month or so. I was wondering if anybody could help me. I am looking for a program that will burn MP3's as MP3's (and not convert them to CD Audio) to a CD which then can then be played on a MP3 CD Player, or DVD. The catch is I want the burned MP3's to crossfade into each other when played (not relying on any special features of the playing device but actually burned to the CD already crossfaded) I can find plenty of software that will burn MP3's to a CD and plenty that will burn MP3's in CD Audio format with Crossfade but none that can Burn MP3's to a CD in MP3 format with built in crossfade. iTunes for the MAC appears to have this feature but I have searched high and low on the net and can find nothing like this for the PC. Any help greatly received. Regards Andrew
  3. Clive and Ken Thanks for the push Clive's photo now in the "Rogues Gallery" Looking forward to the next update of Pictures to exe Cheers Andrew
  4. Some time ago there was mention of a "Slide" transition implemented into PTE this would give the ability to show a panorama by cutting the panorama in two then pushing the first image on to the screen while the other one is pushed off, giving the illusion of a scrolling panorama. Has there been any progress on this feature?
  5. Hi Lumenlux Thumbs Plus does this admirably and it is fast. Also you can automatically renumber once you have sorted your images and then import them straight into PTE in the order you require. Good luck! Cheers Andrew
  6. Mike I was memorised by your show, a minimilistic approached that worked incredible well. I was so haunted by your show that I even dreamed about it last night!!. Another great example to show how versatile PTE can be in the right hands. Its summer here in New Zeaalnd and not much time to be inside on the computer, but your Title caught my eye and something made me take the tiem to download it and view it. Nice work Regards Andrew
  7. Thanks Les At last! A DVD recorder can record a Video output to your Recordable DVD Player, therefore does it not follow you can record a PTE presentation to DVD? as long as you have a Video out on your graphics card. So what I am saying is if you like PTE and can wait (no less than a year suspect) DVD recorders will be MUCH cheaper and you will be able to record your PTE presentation in high quality DVD!!! At that stage don't all these other softwares like Proshow, Xatshow, Pictures2Dvd etc etc become obsolete? HAS ANY BODY OUT THERE GOT A RECORDABLE DVD AND A VIDEO OUTPUT ON THEIR COMPUTER THAT CAN TEST HOW A PTE SHOW RECORDS TO DVD?
  8. If you you want more information on the program read some of the Forum posts shown in the original link Cheers
  9. I have asked this question before on this forum but have never seemed to have got a definite response so I will ask again here as it seems to be appropriate. Now Recorable DVD is here do we we not have the best of both worlds. Can we not Output our PTE show directly to the DVD Recorder and record it? - just as you would to VHS (I'm guessing here as I don't own a recordable DVD) OK Quality will not be as good as a PC monitor but would be as good as any other software which encodes to a DVD e.g Proshow Gold etc It seems now we have Recordable DVD that we will allways be able to use PTE to make DVD Slide shows the quality of these shows will then be dependant on future developments in the quality of recordable DVD Hardware? Am I on the right track or have I missed some major point?
